Ever heard of "The one that got away?" yes they exist but not everyone has them. Some people are lucky enough not to have them because they ended up with the one they loved the most. unfortunately for me, I have one, she got away I never had even the slightest chance of being with Elena.

Years have past, fell in love with other people and it came to the point that I don't look at Elena's facebook any longer. I was committed and dead serious of my present goal which was Valerie. Valerie wanted us to be friends first because she wasn't ready for a new relationship yet, and believe it or not? I was doing well I was able to resist temptations of other girls knowing that my chances with Valerie will go to waste. I was proud I was confident Valerie was the girl I wanted.

One day my friend advised me to have closures from my past especially Elena . I ask my friend to add Elena via Facebook so we could have mutual friends. I added Elena, but guess what it was rejected. with the confusion I immediately messaged her but i got no reply, I was sad and confused because I just wanted us to be friends and forget the past. I had no intentions of winning her back I knew she was OK. I knew she was in-love with someone else.

I few weeks have past I got a message from her, I immediately opened it. We had a simple chat, and unconsciously I was already trying to win her back. her replies showed that she wants to give me a chance, but still I wanted to test the waters we chatted everyday and night since then. I immediately forgot about Valerie I felt guilty, with just one message from Elena I totally forgot her, but I know i'am doing the right thing.

I don't know how my story will end. but one thing is for sure, I'll take even the smallest chance just to end up with "The one that got away" under any circumstances.
