Does anyone remember my infamous 42% Not Gold ring? I first introduced this 14 karat gold ring to Steemit here:

14 karat gold is only 58% gold, or as I like to say 42% Not Gold. Recently I acquired a 24 karat platinum “V” charm and it has helped me illustrate a few things.

Here is the “V” charm:

I noticed that the V also acts as a > (greater than) sign!

We can see right away the Mene charm is superior because 24 karat gold look distinctly different than diluted 14 karat gold.

So how does the metal color compare? As has been pointed out by the Mene founders, when you compare 24 karat gold to 42% Not gold, the 42% Not Gold looks a bit like silver.
