MOUTHWATERING HALO-HALO

Halo-Halo, which in English means "mix-mix," is a famous Filipino dessert. This is a layered mixture of different sweet ingredients like sweet boiled beans, corn kernels, native ube yum, sweetened jack fruit, leche flan, young coconut, gulaman (gelatin), and mango (and basically whatever you would like to mix with it), plus shaved ice mix with evaporated milk. An ice cream toppings, like the one in the picture, is a special halo-halo.

Halo-Halo is also very attractive because it is colorful. I personally like the different taste all combined into one tall glass.

This treat is especially famous during summertime, when it is hottest. Having this delicious treat is like oasis in the desert!!!

This summer, be sure to quench your thirst by having some halo-halo!
