Today i visit an amazing place called Hellesylt, a small village located in the Stranda municipality of Norway, a part of the More and Romsdal Country in the western part of Norway. Initially i was surprise that the cruise ship is going to dock in a village but once there... well the place looks like a postcard from a fairy tale!
As you can see its a small village and i did the photo from the top deck of Nautica, the cruise ship that i am working now. The village lies at the head of the Sunnylvfjord. The place is absolutely and exceptionally picturesque. The Hellesylt waterfall gushes right through the center of the village into the Fjord.
This waterfall is one of the most photographed sites in Norway from what i understood from the locals. And i have to admit it is magical! I got so fascinated by the place and i start to explore it.
A photo from the top of the waterfall and you can see as well the small village and the cruise ship. The view is just spectacular and the area is so pacefull and the beauty of nature is so relaxing. I have to admit that once i reach the top of the waterfall and seeing the view i was so amazed by the beauty of the place.
As i mention in the title as well this is a photo with me and it's the first one that i am posting here on Steemit. Of course it's not going to be the last one, :) but it was the time to show you who is running the "back office".
There are more then a thousand fjords in Norway, all along the cost. But the most iconic ones are located on the western cost. The fjords resemble still the blue lakes but consist of saltwater and they are prolonged arms of the sea that often reach deep inland with majestic cliffs towering above both sides.
Just amazing!!! I stay for minutes and i contemplate the beauty of the view. It was as well an amazing "battle" between the sun and the clouds making the area even more magical.
A view of the "downtown" of the village and again you can see the beauty of the area. There are only few hundred people living here but i just imagine how it is to wake up in the morning enjoying the coffee and seeing such a view. I have done actually a lot of photos but some of them are not that great as all the photos have been done with my mobile but i hope you enjoy the ones that i post.

Excellent.. Your photos are top notch... Though i'm no expert... perhaps make a little statement in there stating they are yours, and no reuse allowed without permission... or, however you feel about reuse.. i know you said it's not a good camera, but WoW !! That is a Beautiful Place to be sure... You must enjoy seeing all the differn places the ship takes you...
Yes the photos are mine and i have done them using my mobile phone. As well i have added a photo with me (it's actually my first photo that i add with me). I am not an expert in photography as well i just choose the ones that look the best to me. The place is absolutely amazing and i have to admit that one of the pluses working on a cruise ship is that sometimes i manage to visit places like this.
i never doubted they were yours friend.. stating it encourages others to post original content.. it also could increase upvotes...
I hope as well more and more people here will start posting original content as this will make Steemit a better place for sure and on a long run only original and good quality content will be appreciated and of course upvoted!
