Today, I come to share images of one of the orchids that I have in my small garden, in this case I present my orchids Spathoglottis Plicata, that is its scientific name, but in a colloquial way it is also known as the Philippine orchid.

This type of orchid, originally from Asia, can develop in a pot or on the ground directly, and due to this peculiar behavior, it is also known as terrestrial orchid or garden orchid.

It is very easy to grow, because it does not require much care. It adapts very well to direct sunlight, nevertheless, it develops better in a place where during the day it receives between light shade and partial sunlight, as for irrigation, it must be watered daily, but, it must be alert that the soil, maintain a good drainage, because if it does not, its roots tend to rot and, of course, die, I tell you, I already went through that unfortunate experience.

I recommend them to have it is their garden, because it blooms all year. Its flowers are usually purple, pink, white, and there are even some variations in yellow, but as you can see in the images I only have purple and pink.
