The diary game: 19/08/2020: Day 19 - Refilling gas and helping my new recruits further!
A typical day for me starts as early as 5am. Yesterday was no different. As I recruit and mentor new users, the task of answering all their questions increases. After the morning worship with other members of my family, I quicly came online to check our Whatsapp group and attend to some inquiries from my friends.
For breakfast, I took tea and bread. Sorry no images for that. For the day, I planned to work from home again. But inbetween, i had to go for gas refill. My cooking gas finished that morning so i had to go and refill it. Before I left, I did some house chores and laundry for few minutes. I left home by 11.AM.
If you have followed by diaries, I mentioned that tricycles are a popular means of movement in the city. So I flagged done one and hopped in, straight to the gas station. The trafiic that morning was not congested. I took this image of the road while seating inside the tricycle.

The journey from my home to the gas station is about 30 minutes. I got there and went straight to pay and collect receipt. As seen in the receipt below, I paid for 7KG and paid a total amount of #2,240. This is equivalent to 22.4 Steem at the rate of 100 naira per Steem.

I took the receipt to the attendant whose job is to fill up my cylinder. I decided to take the selfie below before handing him the receipt.

Having collected a duplicate copy of the receipt, he started opening the cylinder to fill it up. It took these two pictures below of him doing his job. When he was done, I carried the cylinder back home.

Back home, I had to take some rest. I normally squeeze out little time each day for a nap. It makes me feel renergized to complete whatever I was doing. I helped @chigolden understand what the diary game is and how to do her first entry. I explained the tags to her and how to arrange her story. I am very happy that she published her first diary that yesterday. @jeffyt also got some tips on how to do his. I hope he will start up today as promised.
I attended a christian meeting between 4 - 6pm. I normally do so every wednesday. I came back feeling a little tired. I chatted with family, had my dinner and slept off around 10.20pm. Overall, it was a great day and had everything done as planned.

Your day was good @focusnow. I can remember sometime ago when i can to Nigeria and i noticed the market was so big that we had to use tricycles to go around, that was in Onitsha....hahahaaha i miss a very nice soup i ate during that trip though i can't remember the name but there was much meat inside...smiles....
I when through @chigolden introductory post and couldn't help but notice her excellent writing skills. Your are doing a great job.

@focusnow your dairy post is quite interesting. For some time now I’ve been reading your dairy post, and I’ve noticed that you people make it a daily routine observing your morning prayers/ worships which is very rare in most families. It really tells good about your family and how they’re closer to God.
Sure @jeffyt. This scripture is really the main reason - Matthew 5:3. "Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need, since the kingdom of the heavens belong to them"
So when we are conscious of our spiritual need or put simply, when we recognize that we need God in our lives to succeed, we try to put him first. Like you said, it bring us closer to God
You really admire the work you do to retain new users to steem and I must commend you. Do not let your hand drop.

@focusnow you actually had a busy day.The gas plant company looks organised.They have a standard procedure.
Attending Christian meetings is essential.It helps to refresh the mind on the things that the Almighty is expected of us.
