Art School - week #3 Values (homework)
Among my purposes for this year is to improve my skills, and I got an art class initiative from the talented artist @beekart. I arrived a little late and they are already going through class #3. This is new for me even though I'm used to drawing from this focus I had not done it and it's a challenge and I'm having a good time.

Hey @erdavid awesome to have you participate! Fantastic works man!
You clearly have been doing this for a while ;)
For the portraits and still life I dont have much to say other than you do have to keep practicing these.
Your values look quite good but they lack a bit of depth. There are darks that are darker than you have painted them which, if you did,, would give more depth to the object and make it look more 3d.
Here is some pointer what i mean.. i hope it is visible:

THe cool thing is that if you learn to see and use those depth creating 'tricks' you can use them in your own work too.. and it will level up! :)
Thank again for participating! I'll send you 2SBD for doing the homework!
Cheers!
Thanks for the comments and suggestions, that's exactly why I was interested in participating in the classes; I do not have a formal education so I take advantage of any opportunity to improve, understood to give it more depth. I will keep practicing more while I wait for the next classes, once again thanks for the time you dedicate to this.

Good job! I love that you put all this work into it. My favorites are the 1st portrait and the pineapple. Keep it up!
Thank you!
