So, Is Summer Over?
When I was growing up, that's what school back in session meant, as we didn't go back until the Tuesday after Labor Day. It's still July here! Academically, I guess the county believes we're keeping up better with the Chinese by only taking 7 weeks off during the summer instead of 9 like in most areas. She likes her teacher though, and you can actually meet her in a recent tweet! She seems pretty nice. Yeehaw, happy hump day everyone!

What is the lunacy - my boy just finished his second week of the six week summer holiday. Your schools must break up very early - I wonder if the weather makes a difference. Anyway I hope she has fun, certainly looks happy about it. !COFFEEA 15

Mine still have a week left of summer but my youngest had "6th grade preview day" today... enjoy your little one now because they grow up so quickly!

That is great! When I was little, I could not wait for summer to be over so I could back to school! Then again, I was a weird kid. I haven't changed much. 🤣
