Venus in Cancer

Venus has moved into Cancer. It will travel there until July 27. From there, it moves into Leo.

When Venus is in Cancer, people are sensitive, intuitive, protective, and sentimental. They look to family members and those they consider "part of the family" for emotional support ... and they want to strengthen those connections.

Home life, privacy, and security needs assume "priority" in relationships. There is also noticeable nostalgia, concern with "tradition," and emphasis on memories and "the past."

With Venus in Cancer, there is a "maternal" quality to life's romantic interests. With such strong emphasis on family, people want to "mother" their loved ones, and be mothered in return.

• Being passive, changeable, indecisive, weak-willed
• Being emotionally repressed ... or borderline hysterical all the time
• Being resentful, blaming, fretful, paranoid, "scared all the time"
