My Road to Steemfest: Wrap up - Back from Steemfest

The final final prompt from @anomadsoul The Road to Steemfest initiative... I don't wanna write this one... nooo... why?... because writing this meaning SF4 is finally come to an end... and I still can't believe it... SF3 and SF4 already ended... ya... to me, I feel like SF3 was the day before yesterday and SF4 was yesterday... 🤣😂😅 But it was actually a year apart...

I am so glad I made that decision last year to fly to Krakow to attend SF3 (my first Steemfest) even though it was an expensive trip for me. I am so happy I have done it. And since then, I tell myself no matter where SF is, I will be there. My husband doesn't get it but then lucky me I am still able to make it happen. So here I am again attending SF4 in Bangkok.

Steemfest is AWESOME. I am no technical person, I don't really understand the tech stuff, the development or the trend. Steemfest to me is all about meeting up with old friends and making new friends. And also about meeting up with the big shots, the whales, the witnesses!!!

Last year I met some of them but I didn't dare to start a conversation with them. I have no idea what to talk to them about, and I am afraid they might think I have other hidden agenda even though I don't have any. And then this year seeing them again, I am glad I take the step and walk up to them and talk to them. And surprisingly they are super nice and cool.

This year Steemfest we have more free and easy diy trip time... compare to last year... I think I talked to more people last year. But this year I get to spend more time with a few good friends. Even though we have more time than last year but time is still not enough... 😅

Proof of Hugs... awesome way to get closer... and naively I posted 8 PoH posts on the first day... My bad, I didn't mean to spam... but then it's still my own decision to post them... This led to losing some of my auto upvote trails... ouch... even though this kinda hurt (I get less payout) but then I am still thankful for all the support all this while. They can stop whenever they want. The upvotes are never meant to be forever... nothing is forever, right? I have fun playing PoH...

Making new friends... @iguazi123... founder of @wherein... together with him we met more people... talked to @andrarchy @aggroed @kinokomochi @yoshiko and many many more... got him team up with @slobberchops @goblinknackers for the bowling night...

I am so happy to meet up with the Japanese team again. @hidemi @kinokomochi @yoshiko... @fusan @knozaki2015 @shintakai. These are a few names I remember... The highlight of hanging out with them was we fully utilize the technology to help us communicate with each other. Google Translate is our best friend. Brilliant... Language is the barrier but it doesn't keep us apart... we still manage to chit chat and have fun.

The Korean team... Mr Salmon @jack8831 and @cjsdns... This is the first time I meet up with you guys... So I guess I am still a bit shy. Next year, yup, next year we will have more chit chat...

Wanna thanks @crimsonclad for your time during the closing drink... love the way you talked about witness, what witness do, and blocks... and nodes... changed my witness vote on the spot and vote for you @followbtcnews

And @gandalf... oh... the wizard... meeting you again and this time feel much more closer and friendlier... it's me... I was afraid last year... If not mistaken I met you on Day 2 last year downstairs where we need to keep our jacket at the counter before going up. It's so nice of you joining us @ladiesofasia (@livinguktaiwan @travelgirl @wanderein and me) for the walk and the talk of democracy... and also the super funny silly gif play...

Am I answering the questions in @anomadsoul's prompt??? Yes, No, Maybe... I don't know... but this is exactly what's in my mind and I just freewrite it out... let it loose...

After two Steemfests, yes, I am going to attend the next Steemfest and the next one and the next next one and the... ya... you get it, right? This year it's kinda magical because the Steemfest Telegram group up till now is still active... ya... for real... so we can feel the bond is stronger...

@roelandp said we will be good to have a budget of about 1800 Euros saved for our Steemfest next year. No matter where it is going to be, this amount should be able to cover it. So off we are going to make it happen!!!

I guess this should be it... The end of my SF4 wrap up... Till next year... we meet again!
