Updates on Life - keep the faith and keep having fun!

Hello Friends, Family and Followers! I still am not sure what this post will be, I have a few moments here while 'helping' @ecoinstante make some soup (@snook stop laughing) and want to make a post for today. This will be a general update blog post of the type I do once and a while, and will include my personal thoughts about life and stuff

_{Running on Steem}

Since getting started on Steemit, many big changes have happened in our lives. For as much as I have been blogging, I haven't really shared a ton about our lives and lifestyles; my style is more so to blog about things that I have already finished processing in my own mind, which often means I am blogging about the past.

And there is still so much past to keep blogging about! Just analyzing series that I have started and not finished, I am setting goals to continue with my 'TRUTH about Coffee' Series, to finish part 3 of 'Escaping Illegaliy', and to continue going into some of my observations on management and consulting. And these are just some of the things I've started.

In the mean time, something you may have noticed if you followed us in the selfie contest - we moved into a new house!

We will have to do a fuller series about the whole story of this place, but for now I will say - We have been incredibly blessed!

The owners were very worried about renting to just anybody, they need a couple they could trust with their garden, over 30 years of work and collection cannot be entrusted to just anybody!

We are doing our best!

Maybe you know that I got a job in town. My main skill there is speaking english. I have gotten pretty good, almost to the level of simultaneous translation. I don't have to translate simultaneously every day, only when there are english speaking clients, as there was on my first job.

Seen above is my current boss talking about birding and the opportunity that birding and birding tourism represtents for our region of Colombia. As he was speaking I was translating his words to a visitor from Switzerland.

Since then I have been 'promoted' to Tech Lead, and I have several developers who work with me to develop commercial solutions based in technology. This is a fancy way of saying web applications. This part of the job is not as much fun for me, and I have grown distracted lately. Why?

I have made more money on Steem in the last month than all of my jobs in the last year combined!

_Rebirth

We are still working on some great projects, I don't know how we find the time! We are working on Tourism in Líbano, improving the functionality of the coffeesource.net website, learning about cryptocurrencies and trading, blogging, learning about programming, keeping up with the farm, and doing a few other fun things as well!

I have enjoyed immensely the opportunities that steem, steemit and utopian.io have brought into our lives.
