Sometimes, it can be hard spotting the right thing that hypothetically keeps me centered in life. Some days the middle is off to the side, right where it is never supposed to be...Some days it means something, other days, not a thing — at off centered and loving it.
This picture is dedicated to #MonochromeMonday With @Old-Guy-Photos. Let's pull out some monochromes. And if you have a dash of color, as I did, the old guy is pretty forgiving of a splash or three.
A trinity of color to keep me company as I go off, running straight into the sunshine. — at the happiest of Mondays.
Made a little sunshine today. Happiness will be following shortly behind.
On this day, I am obliged to feel good all over. Just because. Today’s my fun day. Isn't it Sunday? Kidding. I know it is Monday. Sort of. But, some days I have to push a little on myself or stretch a bit. So, I say to you: find pleasure in one thing today or this week, but it has to be totally disconnected from the almighty dollar. Something that will never make you a dime, but gives you that content feeling of pure happiness. Now we are talking. — it's my fun day.
Swinging through the air gives me a taste of freedom, all the while safe in your arms as they hold me, gently, gently swaying to the enchanting sense of adventure your heart provides.
There are so many extraordinary things about you and how you light up my life. So irresistible as the descending drama plays off of the casting of the shadows. Bold and beautiful, you always make your way into my heart, spilling your loveliness all around me.
And just like that, these musings are done. I want to thank @old-guy-photos and @Kalemandra for hosting these challenges and just so you know, although much sun and shine was used up today, I can guarantee that there is still a little left in my heart. Have a most fabulous day!

I always post this poem down at the bottom of my posts. It is one that has become so near and dear to my heart. I only post the most famous part of it, but, wanted to post it in its entirety today.
they set my aunts house on fire
i cried the way women on tv do
folding at the middle
like a five pound note.
i called the boy who use to love me
tried to ‘okay’ my voice
i said hello
he said warsan, what’s wrong, what’s happened?
i’ve been praying,
and these are what my prayers look like;
dear god
i come from two countries
one is thirsty
the other is on fire
both need water.
later that night
i held an atlas in my lap
ran my fingers across the whole world
and whispered,
"where does it hurt?"
it answered,
"everywhere"

Most welcome, and we to are having a nice day today and to give you a chuckle I heard from a colleague and went to find a piece of art in the city this morning walked to the location where I thought it was and low and behold it wasn’t there, as I was waiting for the subway I looked it up again and saw it was only on display tit he 25th of JUne and I thought dang just a minute again. Looked it up again and found A it wasn’t anywhere near where I thought it was and B it is on display till the 25th of June 2020, but i walked through an area of Harlem I had never walked through before and for that matter some of it I will ever walk through again and definitely not in the early morning.
The last funny part of this story is the art piece is only a few blocks from the 25th Street Subway where i started walking from, and I probably missed walking by it by only a block, but I saw some new art and got some exercise in, so a good start to a good dayThanks for the tip :)
OMG! Well, I told you that my friend lived on the cusp of it and I would spend the night there when it was too late to catch the train home. Yikes. Even back then, although much of it is now renovated, so be grateful. LOL
So do I get to see this piece of art today?
Some parts of Harlem are nice now, but some parts are a little hmm shall I say rough and ready, but I think I found the area only those that live there go there this morning, was an interesting experience
And no I didn’t see the piece this morning, but maybe tomorrow I will make it there, but I did see some art along the way for this evenings post

Your words are, like your photos, simply intoxicating to me. Just like a favorite song, where there are certain lyrics that can be picked up and taken away to mean whatever the listener chooses. Yes they are deep, scary deep I say. Well over my head, but I enjoy them all the while.
Good thing there is no quiz at the end of these musings. I am sure I would not score well at all. Oh but the pure happiness from the reading, oh yes I am right there - at my fun day
You ever listen to Andrea Bocelli? He has a great voice alright. I dont think he ever played the phantom, but he does a nice job of this...
Hahahaha! OMG! There are no words for you, you do know that, right? Oh, Bocelli!!! What a nice sound he has to his voice! A voice that sneaks up on you and takes you by surprise. You know how to pick them, for sure!
