China - Norway, going home.

Time for Alvilde(7) and her dad to get back to the rest of the family.

We got up, had a siple breakfast at the hostel, and got in our cab to the airport. A lot of waiting in security checks, as usual, but Alvilde was now looking forward to going home with all of her Chinese loot.

The first leg was from Beijing to Amsterdam. Alvilde got excited when she was served a waffle on the plane.

But it turned out to be a classic, dutch "stroopwafel"which has a kind of honey-like centre. So she ate the ends and I got the middle.

Another long flight, but we saw some movies and ate good (enough) food. I tried to convince Alvilde to get some sleep, but she wasn't able to.


Over an hour to wait at Schiphool, Amsterdam, but Alvilde found another massagechair. So she was happy.


Then a short flight from Amsterdam to Gardermoen, Norway and we took the train in to Oslo. My sisters boyfriend and their kids picked us up there and had home made pizza for us when we came to their house. A lovely end to a perfect trip.
The day after we drove home, with my wife and the rest of the kids happy to see us (thank God).

And that concludes our adventures in China for this time. Alvilde now loves China almost as much as her father, and she wants to go back. Next time I go, in a year or two, I'm planning to take Alvildes brother Konstantin, who is 1 year younger.
