Southern Asian Cusine
Last night @zenmommas and I made up a new cuisine category: Southern Asian. Spicy panko crusted fried green tomorrow’s and breaded tofu on rice with a ginger, vinegar soy sauce and steamed and raw veggies. It was crazy good.
If you haven’t watched David Chang’s show Ugly Delicious on Netflix yet, I highly recommend you do. The BBQ episode has Chang and David Choe (one of my favorite street artists) eating donkey meat in Shanghai. We’ll actually only Choe will eat it, but the show is awesome and got me psyched to start cooking again, and freeing up some cultural specificity.
Yours in the Pan,
Doug
This looks and sounds delicious!
Ugly Delicious is golden. I love hip cooking shows. Tony Bourdain R.I.P.
I'm almost done with Ozark, getting quite a kick out of it.
An interesting dish and looks amazing!
Great meal, my friend and I have not eaten before, but the photo looks very appetizing and sure that it is very tasty! Thank you Doug
