FDA Threatens To Crackdown On Vaping

The FDA Chief, Dr. S Gottlieb, recently insisted that electronic cigarette companies could potentially face an upcoming existential threat if they don't stop marketing their products to youth.
Keep in mind that the FDA is an organization which has approved of the use of powerful opioids like oxycontin for children reportedly as young as 11 years old. As well, they also claim that cannabis offers no medicinal value despite the many children and other individuals worldwide who have claimed to have found tremendous benefit from using cannabis personally.
Gottlieb further warned that if he sees the youth vape rates continuing to rise that the entire category of e-cigarettes is going to face this same “existential threat” if they don't change their ways.
Ultimately however, the changes wouldn't stop any children from smoking, or vaping, or engaging in a myriad of other potentially harmful activities. The change would only increase control for the state at the expense of liberty for the individual.

Regulation creates black markets.... Like you said. They never have, and never will accomplish anything beneficial to anybody but themselves.

Secondhand vape kills my lungs. Vaping is not a healthy habit. You're still sucking nasty chemicals straight into your lungs, even if they're not accompanied by the tar and particulates of smoking tobacco.
BUT:
That doesn't mean it's any of the government's business.
Ugh o, im 17 and i have a vape lol. Im not a proud owner of it butttt.... At the end of the day theses kids are still going to get their hands on these products and continue to use them. I cant see this being stoped in todays society
That is a good idea. They should stop the marketing of the product to the youths
