Exercise in your office

Do you have a job that requires you to sit 8 hours/day? I do! Even if I stand up and I take small breaks, the problems with the back started to show up. I have decided to take care of it so I started to search the internet to find a solution for my problem. I found out that you don't have to go to the gym in order to work out but you can do it also in your office. That seemed interesting so I've said to myself that I have to try this. I don't have time to go to the gym so exercising in my office became my daily routine.

I will share with you 4 of my favorite exercises:

  1. Stretching
    Pull your seat at a distance of about one meter from the desk, stand in the right position and try to make some stretches. Keep your hands straight and approach the office until your palms reach its surface. Do this two or three times.

  2. Arm rotations
    Stretch your palms toward the outside of your body, then make a few rotations. Make sure you rotate your arms in both directions. Repeat this every hour.

  3. Neck exercices
    Are you experiencing pain in your neck because of the awkward position you adopt when you work in the office? Strain your abdomen and turn your head to the right in a slightly sloping position. Put a hand on your neck and try to get your head close to the shoulders. It's important to keep this position for 20 seconds.

  4. Push ups with the hands on the desk
    Stay about a meter away from the desk, lean forward and hold your palms on the edge of the desk. Elbows must be close to the trunk. It is recommended to make two or three sets of 15 reps.

These are just few of the exercises that you can do in your office. Use your body to experience new ones. Take care of your body because health is very important!
