A Refreshing Juice from the Chico Fruit
Chico is a tropical fruit common in the Philippines which was brought over in the past by Spanish colonizers from Mexico. Chico is also called as Naseberry, Mud Apples, and Sapodilla Plum. It is a delicate brown fruit which tastes exceptionally sweet and malty.
In order to beat the damned hot and humid tropical weather, my former classmate taught me how to make an instant, refreshing juice drink from this healthy fruit packed with vitamins and antioxidants:
- Extract the fruit pulp into a glass.
- Just add cold water or ice. Add some sugar if not sweet enough for you. Enjoy!

The juice looks less tasty than I expected it to be...but I would sure love to try it one day!
