❤️💙💜3 REASONS TO QUIT JUDGING PEOPLE and BE KIND😇🙌🙏

Good morning Steemians! How are you today?

Today, I would like to talk with you about judging other people.

We are all humans and many people tend to think that they are somehow better than the others. We are very quick to judge what is happening from our point of view and our personal perspective, not everyone is patient and tries to understand other persons motives and what made him behave in this or other situation in a certain way.People simply don’t have time for that and most of the time they don’t want to!;)

When I was studying in the University we had a really interesting subject where we would talk about different cultures, people and their lifestyle and mentality. We would always be taught that even the most bizarre tradition or behavior of other people can not be judged, because if in your eyes it seems ridiculous in the others it's a normal thing. Nothing can be compared or be frowned upon just because its unusual to you.I would always argue with a teacher and say that there should be some norms equal for everyone in the world and she would patiently explain that of course some norms exist but not for everything.

Traveling to other countries and meeting with other people, who’s lifestyle differs from my own, I realised that there are as many perspectives as people out there, we will never be able to proof if we are wrong or right in some cases, it is simply impossible. We can learn how to be tolerant and respectful to other people traditions and way of living, we may not like it but we certainly can not judge it.

I love Steemit, it’s a great platform filled with nice people, it’s very rare when people are rude here at least not as many as in other social media.I would love it to remain like that, coz it’s not pleasant to see when people here are leaving unnecessary evil comments on people’s pages they don’t even know, or judge others.

We all maybe should try to make a step back, look at it all from different angle and theeen decide what to think or say.

Here are my 3 reasons WHY you should quit judging others:

•CULTURAL DIFFERENCES : the strongest reason in my opinion (but once again, what seems to me the strongest might seem to you the weakest and its okay:)))Cultural traditions, norms, lifestyles are different from country to country, even from city to city inside the same country.Let’s take China and USA for instance, I’m not from USA but these two Asian and Western cultures are totally different in the way of thinking and living. I worked in a hotel in China, and was coming back home from work amazed day by day, how Chinese people are bad at team work, they care only about themselves and how they look as a single person in director's or manager's eyes. The competition is super high in China, simply because there are too many people who are trying "to find their own spot under the Sun”, its in their veins,in their blood they have to fight every single day because if they don’t, there will be other person who tries harder.Culture shapes people from childhood, influences the way their brain works and what perception they have. So,there can’t be really wrong or right here,it’s not the same for all cultures in the world, it’s different, it’s all relative.

•YOUR PERCEPTION of some things can trick you and be false sometimes. We can take parents as an example. What we all know is that we should listen to our parents and do whatever they say, they are our parents, they are older and wiser than we are, they can not be wrong!it’s the most obvious example I could take.Just because your parents think something is good or something is bad, doesn’t mean that they are right.Parents are also humans, they make mistakes, they can be wrong or just be not competent in some areas, they are not always smart or kind, you can not just take their words all the time as just.Or kids, we all have a perception that kids are pure and always tell the truth, it doesn’t work this way.Kids can lie to protect themselves from the punishment, that’s why its important to check everything before you make a judgment of the situation, because you can accuse or even harm somebody innocent.Let your perception be more flexible, even if it’s hard to do.

•Everyone HAS a REASON for their behaviour: this one I learned from school. My mom used to be a German teacher, everyone loved her.She was mostly having "trouble classes” with kids who were behaving bad. After classes I used to wait for her and sit in the back of the classroom. When I would see how kids were behaving, fighting and even swearing sometimes. I would always tell my mom that these kids are bad.She would say that it’s not their fault, they are this way because they are not loved enough at home, or because they have a difficult situation they live in now.You can not define a person for his actions, sometimes these actions were made out of despair or something else. There is no completely good or bad.Stealing is bad, but if a mother steals cole coz she has to make it warm in the house for her infant kids- it's another perspective, still not good but has a strong reason.Killing is wrong, but killing for self-defense or for other people's sake is quite arguable. It still is not okay to do that but different perception allows us to see the situation from another person perspective.

Having said all that, I of course understand that there are moral norms that should be followed. Some people can not be justified, some things can not be forgiven.
But we all should try harder not to judge others, stay on our own path. If you are wealthy and educated feel good about it, be proud, but don’t make fun of people who can’t read or can’t speak different languages. If you are fit and beautiful, don’t think that it’s okay to make fun of other peoples weight or flaws.Don’t judge, be thoughtful, think twice before you say something, be fair.

We are all smart, but smart at different things, don’t be quick to define a person as “stupid" just because he is not as good as your are in some area, maybe you are “stupid” in the area where he is smarter than you.

Don’t judge people on Steemit for self-upvoting,being “fake”, following too many people, using boosters and other things or writing poorly. There is always something behind all that, a reason.

In the end, talking bad about other people and judging them says a lot about you as a person.🤗Be tolerant, because it is kind.

What do you think of that?

Good post but your photos are just irrelevant to your point...

Right on.

But some people just like to watch irrelevant photos while reading.
Please don't judge me...

Maybe.But please don't judge me..😁

It may not be relevant to her post, but maybe you could have had a second thought before judging her. I appreciate the thought she has put into that post and her beautiful pictures.

amazing post!

Thank you😊

Very nice article. I realized that when I began caring a bit less about what others thought about me, my perception of a lot of things change. My life evolved at that point and I began making real friends and lost a lot of people I had known to be friends for 15 years but who were actually just relationships of convenience. Your post got me thinking about it again this morning and I can appreciate that.

My god,I understand what you mean!I have also lost people I was friends with for so many years, and it's not a bad thing. When you are around people who constantly judge, you get nothing but negativity, you should not allow this people around yourself.Life is too short, friends should be friends😊

Perspective is an important thing to understand but tough to teach others.
I am from Canada and went to University in the USA, you would think that our perspectives would be the same. There were many differences and I learned to try and look at things from a different angle.

Great post.

Yeah,it's hard to teach and even harder to make yourself look at things from different perspective and try to understand other people, but as you said, we can learn to try;))) In my country even Northern and Southern people have diff pespectives😁Thank you for your thoughtful comment😊

I strongly agree, sadly in this world, there are many judgmental people out there that are very quick to judge your flaws. Like I had many people in my life judge me because of the way I talk, approach a person and even having a foot fetish. They base the one flaw I do at that moment and then quickly think that I am like that always. And you are taught in life that if people judges you, then there must be something wrong with you. Everything in this world happens for a reason. And even if its something weird that I do not understand, at least I try my best to support them because what they do makes them happy and I expect them to do the same for me.

In reality, I believe everyone has something weird that they do that they rather keep secret because they are afraid to be judge. At this point, sometimes I just prefer not to care what others think of me. I am unique and no matter what you do, you will never be loved by everyone in this world.

Amazing post! I may make a post like this later on next week about judgmental people because I have a lot to say about it. I gave you a follow and an upvote! Hope you check out some of my post in my page when you have time. You may enjoy somethings I plan to say.^^

Thank you so much for reading and giving me your thoughts on the problem!I really appreciate it;)Sure, you should share your experience with people through the post!😊
