Dadview in Florida - Day 4 Magic Kingdom
So today was the day.
Magic Kingdom
It all started out with Breakfast with Stitch. He is Luke's favourite Disney Character. There were many other characters there as well including Lilo, Mickey and Pluto. At one point they collect all of the kids and have them perform a perade around the restaurant. It was really cute.
After breakfast we headed into the park. We didn't really take a lot of pictures this year. We were too busy having fun. I did get a couple of rides with my go pro. We were able to get on 13 different rides this year. I think that may be the most that we have been on in a single day. While inside one of the shops I did get my phone out well Luke was trying on hats and mouse ears. Here are two of my favourites.
Then we always make sure to grab a couple of Mickey Mouse ice creams in the middle of the day. The weather was great so these tasted extra delicious! Luke went with the ice cream on a stick while mom and I both went with the Mickey ice cream sandwiches.
I did get a shot of Luke on the carousel and Luke and I on the People mover (with Onion Faces).
The people mover goes through Space Mountain with was closed down during part of the day. I tried to grab a photo of it with all the lights turned on. It ended up a little blurry but I still thought it was pretty cool. We also say a group of ducks waiting in line with us for the Jungle Cruise.
Luke was exhausted from all of the fun. So we made sure we grabbed our traditional "Luke sleeping" picture. He was also able to ride the Pirates of the Caribbean this year which is one he didn't want to go on in previous visits due to having to wait in line in the dark caves. His cousin James would be so proud of him as James also recently rode Pirates for the first time.
And what trip to Disney would be complete without capturing Zurg! I miss the days when you could squeeze through the bars and get inside with him.
Day 5's plan is hanging out by the pool and heading down to Disney Springs!

Caleb loves Stitch also. We haven’t done breakfast with the characters but I want to do that next time we are at Disney.
Character dining can be expensive but it can save you hours of wait time inside of the parks!

Oh wow! Here I thought people on TV are larger than they are in real life. I always assumed Lilo and Stitch as little, but I never realized how huge they are! Currently re-assessing my life.
ha ha, too funny.
Luckily kids don't realize the size difference.
OR perhaps they're holding it deep within them now, letting that resentment fester. We'll see when Luke comes of age if he'll show signs of rebellion. You can trace it back to an overgrown Stitch.
