Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Please make sure to add a proper description to your entry as this was the reason on few occasions when I could not pick the best image as it had a very poor description. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.

The winner of a daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday, Australian Monday, Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans, African Wednesday, European Thursday and North American Friday to give them your support if you like their image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #9 - winner announcement!

@drawesome24 Asian Sunday entry:

As a student, I went to poor parts of Asia to teach children a little bit of English language. This picture was taken with my NIKON d3400 and it represents hard work and dedication in the fields of rice.

@betterthanhome Australian Monday entry:

A Big swell is coming

They predicted a big swell for the Sunshine Coast here in Australia. So I went for a little walk yesterday afternoon and shot this photo from Coolum Beach. Seems like the Waves are getting bigger already.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Tuesday of Antarctica and the world’s oceans week #9 – winner announcement!

@drawesome24 Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:

I took this photo from a helicopter. It shows National Park The Kornatia which is often mentioned as "nautical paradise" in tourist publications. And really, in "slalom" sailing through the 89 unforgettable islands.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #9 – winner announcement!

@schmidthappens African Wednesday entry:

There are some great countries to visit in the southern part of Africa. One of those is Botswana. I took this photo just outside of Maun, Botswana of donkeys on the edge of the Thamalakane River. There are many donkeys here in this country and Botswana recently moved to protect them by banning the export of donkey products because of a rise in illegal killings. I'm glad to see Botswana make this move to protect these animals and help the farmers who rely on their donkeys to keep their farms running.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – European Thursday week #9 – winner announcement!

@aurumv European Thursday entry:

And do you think this is Europe ? Yes ! You are right - this is Iceland. I have even check this in Wikipedia... Could it be Europe so far away :) The landscape in Iceland is like from fantasy movies. It changes very fast depending to location and height. You can walk with T-shirts, but after an hour you will need a warm jacket. On my opinion this one of the best places for hiking. And certainly magnificent place for a photographers.

@thelifeofjord South American entry:

A sneak peak of Banff's peaks through the trees. This was from the top of the Banff Gondola in Canada. For 3 days before this there was nothing but clouds and no photo opportunities. Until finally the clouds parted and we treated to this epic view!

La Mano (The Hand) is one of the iconic landmarks of the city Punta del Este (Uruguay). This sculpture was done by the Chilean artist Mario Irarrazábal. You can have an idea of the size of the sculpture by comparing with the shadow of a person that appears in the photo.

Fabulous entry! Thank you so much for your submission!

I've posted before from this city, but I love Cartagena, Colombia too much not to post another. Inside the Walled City is Old Town Cartagena. It's a beautiful, colorful part of town that's a remnant of its colonial days. For any photographers, it's definitely a must visit area if you're traveling in Cartagena.

Looks great! Thank you so much for your submission. Tomas

A couple years ago I trekked Macchu Pucchi, and passed another fascinating Inca site called Winya Wanya. There were some llamas there in our way who refused to step aside to let us pass. Then I realised why!

First we gathered old coconuts, as they have thread like inside they are very good for making fire. I don't remember exactly which fish we had either tuna or garajuba. But holy smokes the fish BBQ is one of the best memories from trip to Brazil!

Greetings, Mr.
This photograph is from my trip to Quimbo, located in the Department of Huila Colombia. Here is a view of one of the recreational activities that visitors more enjoy, a boat tour of the dam.
Thank you very much.

Thank you so much for your submission! Please stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas

In 2009 I visited the Marajo Island, in the state of Pará, in the north of Brazil. It's considered the largest sea-river island on the planet (yes, the water of its beaches is brackish!). The difference between high tide and low tide is considerable (more than 150 meters). To take this picture, I had to put myself too far from the beach, at low tide. And there was still a bit more land until it reached the sea.
Behind the bars, the Amazon rainforest.

Thank you for your participation. Please stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon.
