Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD! Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

See the winner of the last week´s Australian Monday @mibreit-photo with the following entry:

Already monday again :-) Today I show you a photo from my first trip to New Zealand back in 2014. The weather on the North Island wasn't very good and we had to cancle many of our plans. But down in the south-east at Castlepoint a spell of sunny weather was forecast. So we drove down there and it was a great decision. The Castlepoint Lighthouse with Castlerock in the distance is such a beautiful subject to photograph. And asside from that there's also a beautiful beach and some steep cliffs to explore.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

Every year in June, Sydney lights up during the Vivid Sydney festival, where visual arts and lights shows covers the many buildings and landmarks around Sydney Harbour. This year, I am especially impressed with the strobe light show at Circular Quay, where rays of blue lights emits from the top of buildings as well as the Harbour Bridge lighting up the sky.

That must be a great time to be around at that time.

Here's a photo I took in Kaikoura a few years ago. We were there a few days to do Whale Watching and some hiking along the coast. Aong the coast with it's many cliffs you'll find many seal colonies. It's such a great place to explore and photograph.

Thanks ever so much for your continued contribution.

Yea, I still have a few shots left ;-)

One of the things I love the most in Australia is the diversity of the wildlife. This medium sized Laze Monitor crossed our way on a small hike in Queensland, Australia. I had to follow him a few steps to get a good photo of him.

What a little beast:)

"The Australian way of life". Imagine to choose your very own beach for every day you get off. Take your 4WD and hit the road. Take your fishing gear, boards or whatever you like doing on your days off and occupy your very own beach ;) What a wonderful and peaceful way to live! Western Australia 90mile Beach (south of broome). I liked this particular picture with the yellow rusty ute and the dude with his beer.

Wow, that sounds like a different world:)

Same same, but different^^ ;) Thanks for the upvote and mentioning!!!

Queensland, located in north-east Australia is a beautiful place, it is the home of the Australian Rainforest. Not only the forest is amazing, if you drive along the Whitsunday Islands, the scenery is just as you would imagine it in a dream!

Blue waters and green islands... What else?

Snowy seas.jpg
This is my favorite photo from our camping trip in May because it's not immediately clear what's going - snow at the beach? Glaciers in Western Australia? In reality, a huge wave had just crashed on the cliffs leaving only whitewater. Taken near Quobba Station, WA.

Thank you so much for your participation. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement and have a great day. Tomas

Bridal Veil Falls, New Zealand

The amount of "Bridal Veil" falls in the world are evidence enough that this is probably not the most creative name for a waterfall, but this particular bridal veil fall located in the Waikato area on New Zealands North Island really is something special.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

I just love waterfalls but then who doesn't:)

Francois Peron National Park, West Australia.
Deflate your tyres and drive through the soft red sand dunes. You finally reach the beautiful coast with the red cliffs where you can see rays, turtles and sharks in the blue see from the outlook. Great experience.

Yep, it sure is:).... Have a good one.

We're back at South West Rocks, I love this location in New South Wales, Australia. It's a small coastal town with just over 5,000 locals. It has a really nice old world charm but with a relaxed, chilled vibe. This is one of the photos taken on an early morning walk on the beach, we got down there nice and early to watch the sun rise. Does it get any better than this? This is living <3

That sure must be a great place to live a life unlike over-crowded cities.

Yeah I say... we're hoping to have a tree change, we're not in the city but we're in the suburbs and it's just getting far too busy for our liking!

Father's Day in Perth.jpg

In honor of Father's Day, here's a snap of my son and I above Perth from our recent trip to Western Australia with @suitcasemama. Although our holiday was mostly spent camping, Perth immediate charmed us with its family friendly spaces and beautiful vistas like the one captured here from King's Park.

Thank you for your entry but only personal images to be considered for the contest - taken by the owner of the account. Thank you for your understanding. Tomas

Ah, okay, got it. Thanks for the clarification!
