Dear Diary: I Tried To Ask For Assistance But I Was Greeted With Insulting And Rude Comments

This yesterday and the other day I posted in some forum specifically asking for assistance for my condition. I said that I am a dialysis patient for 17 years and had already suffering from its complication of hyperparathyroidism which also resulted to Leontiasis which explains my facial deformities.
And what did I get in return? I was literally told to basically go away, some just insulted my appearance, some just cussed me for being what I am, some ridiculed me, while a few does have a sympathy but unable to really help.
It was just an inhospitable site and it feels like when I was going alone in the city when I was still able to go for a trip there. The people around are just so mean that maybe if i would trip over I would just be treaded upon by the people walking by.
It was just my experiment because I thought I might get some help if people are not empowered like what we are here at steem. So it kept me thinking maybe if we do not benefit for our socializing in here maybe I will also get the same response or possibly ignored altogether by this community.
That is why I do not really post much in other social networks for the fear of what I had experienced in that site. It is just sad that some or maybe most people judge you by the way you look and really since it is my problem I must say and confirm that most people does because I had experienced it myself many times over.
It is better for normal people to be vigilant in the way they appear to other people because appearance matters a lot and if you are not careful people will just ignore, ridicule, cuss, or disrespect you.
Maybe you can hire a private nurse when our crypto starts to fly high again!
Nonetheless, it’s a shame that the regular nurses are unable to provide friendly and helpful care.
People can be mean @cryptopie, even for people without any disabilities, I really don't know why I am so sorry. I can remember my son being picked on all through Junior High School. He was the shortest in his class and would come home in tears from being bullied. Mom and Dad always tried to reassure him, but it never was ok..............
The funny thing is he was just a late bloomer, he is very assertive today, he is Married to a wonderful Hungarian girl ( three years Feburary 13 ) and has a very good job working for the Burlington Northern Railroad.
The problem about being too short....... He is now taller than his Dad..... at 6 foot 2 inches :)

Brother Crypt I can honestly say if you never gave me an upvote ever I would still come in here to check on you. I think you would find many others here feel the same way.

It's sad that this happens, but it's common around the world - you will always find the minority who can only make themselves feel important by ridiculing and belittling others.
It makes me very sad to know people could treat you like this @cryptopie, for me the Steem Blockchain has always appealed to me because it has always celebrated and brought together people from around the world - and I would like to think that it will stay that way in the future.
One thing I do know is you have many, many friends here - and I for one have nothing but admiration for your strength and resolve - even facing the hardest adversity you continue to face the challenge of life full on and never give up. We can all learn something from you @cryptopie.

My dear I have told you before also, people will judge you from the perspective of what they are. It is sad that we have such low level thinking people around us but then that's the reality of life my friend and we need to accept.
You should just give a deaf ear to them.
You are right Ma'am @nainaztengra although it hurts my feelings when people treat me in a bad manner due to my condition I just have to try to ignore the way they see and treat me.
You are talented in your own ways my friend. Take pride of that. The way you write and generate income for yourself not many can do.

That is terrible. Some online communities develop like packs of animals, ready to rip newcomers to shreds. I am glad it was never like that here in steem communities.
I think it's better with my own commitment than hoping for help from others, because there are no more social people in this world, all of them are no longer serving humanity
To me I will day such people that ridicule you and others are just been insensible and irresponsible to their self and the society in which they live in . Some are just been callous and naive, don't allow their response to demoralized you. Just be positive with yourself
