Who Else Wants a Piece of ZAPPL Pie?!
Hello Steemians!
One of the recent development that got me the most excited right now is the ZAPPL project which aim to offer an alternative to twitter on the Steem blockchain.
I would first suggest you start following @zappl for updates but if you haven't heard of it yet, here is a sneak peak they've prepared for us.
Why You Would be Crazy Not to Participate in the Crowdsale
To fund development of this platform, @zappl needs around $32,000 SBD in order to pay for the development time over the next 9 weeks. (more detail here) They've setup a nice little perk mechanism for different level of involvements see here.
They have decided to issues ZAPPL token on the DEX in order to incentivize people to donate to the project. They have issues around 40,000 Tokens at $1 a piece and they will start buying back the tokens once a steady revenue stream is generated via the Arbitrary Rewards Mechanism of STEEM.
As ZAPPL starts buying back tokens and taking them out of circulation, the price of ZAPPL will start to rise. There is virtually no limit of how much a ZAPPL can be worth in the future. Even if a ZAPPL get to $2, that means a nice profit down the road.
The quicker the funds can be raised, the faster the development can get started and have ourselves a nice micro-blogging app on the STEEM blockchain. It's going to be YUGE!
How to Buy ZAPPL
Some people showed interest in buying ZAPPL but since they never used the DEX, they were confused about how to go about buying them with BitUSD. Don't worry! I've created a video to show you how to go about it!

That's exactly what I'm doing now. I'll also like to be a part of Busy.org, but I'm having difficulty logging in there.
Oh its the same login you use here at steemit.
They all use the same usernames and passwords.

QUESTION!!: Will the ZAPPL wallet balance be separate from the steemit wallet balance?
I saw your comment about ZAPPL on Busy.org blog. I'm glad you now made a post on it. That's a wonderful project. You guys are doing great job on the Steemit blockchain. I suggest an account on steemit for Zappl just like Busy.org and the rewards there can be used to fund the project. We'll all do our best to support this project. UP & RS

Thanks for the tutorial, it definitely motivated me to play around a bit. I've had a bitshares account for a while but so far I had only transferred a small amount of BTS I bought on Poloniex into it.
This was the first time I actually used the DEX and converted to BitUSD and then to a little bit of fresh ZAPPL! It was great. This trading platform really needs to catch on and add volume. Having the entire system decentralized is amazing!
