Hello steemians,

My previous updates were done in the form of comments on my main witness thread, however I would like to use @jesta’s template for my witness updates so that all my followers can keep an eye on what I am up to.

I would also like to invite my voters to share their ideas on how to improve steemit, since I believe that the role of a witness is not only to run a node but also to represent its voters on the “witness-table”. Constructive criticism is also welcome.

1. Accomplished

• Steemio Twitter account has now twitted 488 #spanish posts to 43 followers
• SteemioBot has broadcasted over 500 posts to its 27 members on Telegram.
• I have been helping out new users on steemit.chat, especially those who do not speak English and I am very proud to say that some of them have been doing really well on steemit.
• I ran a short facebook ad campaign for steemit, read more here
• My node has been running smoothly on version 0.13.0 and I have updated the price feed when needed.

2. Upcoming projects/goals

• Support the creation of a Spanish Steemit podcast (@betamusic project)
• Promote Steemit as a way to lift people out of poverty (more on this idea here)
• Run a paid twitter compaign for SteemioBot, this will give steemit more exposure and reach on that social network.

3. Thoughts from this week

There are some very interesting community projects taking off, I particularly like the @robinhoodwhale initiative and I invite you to support it. I have already added my second account (@hcf27) to its voting trail and I am voting on their chosen posts manually.

I also believe the “promoted” section will add value to the Steem token and the platform as a whole, something I have been concerned about in the past.
