Overnight Wrap: Bitcoin Remains Bid, Ether Buying Op, Bitcoin Trader Charged and the ADF's New Cyberwarefare Unit
Morning Steemit, Team Australia and welcome to my final overnight wrap for the week. Will be back Monday, but feel free to give me a shout over the weekend if you want something charted.
Crypto Markets
Bitcoin finished the day slightly lower, but continues to find bids above 2400. Yesterday was an Inside Day, a breach of the daily high at 2538 would signal the pair is ready to move higher:
Price action on ETHBTC almost too good to be true. Thought I'd missed the boat, but the cryptogods granted me an entry opportunity with yesterday's down day:
Ether vs USD still looking near identical: two big up days followed by a down day:
Picked up a little more Steem yesterday at 2.74 AUD. Coinspot appear to have ditched Poloniex, as yesterday's tokens came from Bittrex. Significant sell off yesterday against bitcoin, but pair remains bid and looking constructive in the bull channel:
Trading at 2.52 against the Aussie Dollar this morning and 1.77 against the buck, Steem Dollars fetching 1.43 USD.
Still seeing a few people doing 100% Steem Power posts. This is really counterproductive. You are literally pissing your post rewards down the drain. As long as SBD are trading above 1 USD, keep the default 50/50 split, convert your Steem Dollars to Steem at Bittrex/Blocktrades and then power it up on Steemit.
If SBD are trading 40% above the peg ($1.40), you get 20% more SP with this method. If SBD are trading 60% above the peg ($1.60), you get 30% more Steem Power. If SBD are trading at $1.80, you get 40% more Steem Power and so forth.

EOS tokens will be listed on the Bitfinex exchange on July 1st. A lot of hype about this project, will be interesting to see how it pans all pans out. On a related note, I launched a campaign to get Steem and SBD listed on Bitfinex yesterday, check it out here and please send them an email request and resteem the post. Getting Steem and SBD listed there would be a huge step forward for platform and community.
In the US, Mark Cuban has announced his intent to participate in the ICO of the blockchain fuelled sports betting platform, Unikrn. CNBC has more. Also, the US government has organized a 'Federal Blockchain Forum' and an Arizona Bitcoin proponent has been charged with money laundering.

In local news, the Sydney Archdiocese have said they won't be paying Cardinal George Pell's legal bills, but not to worry George ... I'd say the Vatican will be more than happy to cover your costs - the Catholic Church is still the world's third biggest landowner after all.
In local tech, the ADF will be launching a 900 strong cyber warfare unit in an effort to boost Australia's lagging capabilities on that front. In politics, the Liberal Party seems to be taking a leaf from Labor's book and tearing itself apart from the inside as the stoush between moderate Liberals and the traditional right continues.
