A Beautiful Garden
There are many religions in this world that we are born into. Have you ever thought about why there are so many religions and some worship many gods while others have monotheism. Some people have decided that they do not believe in God altogether. They are atheist. These readings of for those who are interested in religion and the moral value that most of the stories hold. In each story we learn about I hope that we can see some of the basic messages that are delivered and keep in mind this book was designed for a child to understand.
I wanted to take the time to share this book with people who are interested. This book was the book that taught me how to read. I read this book every day at the same time with my mother and siblings as a kid. I would also go on to continue reading because the stories were very interesting and always taught a valuable lesson.
As a child you learn the religion of the adults around you. As an adult you follow the religion that you believe in. It is kind of cliché because you can actually have your faith in the religion you were taught as a child and that is just fine. These readings are not to convince you to change your religion but to remember it. I study a few monotheist religions and when you listen to the stories in some places it differs. Is this what the different religions quarrel over? This is not the goal here. Let us just focus on the moral righteousness and also discuss the differences in a respectful manner.
These stories are considered true stories and are taken from the Bible. There is 116 stories in My Book of Bible Stories
Creation to the Flood
In a monotheist religion the first thing a believer does is put everything under the control of one creator; God. Therefore, we believe that God created all things, the sun, moon, stars etc… In My Book of Bible Stories it teaches that Adam and Eve disobeyed God and lost the right to keep living.
A Beautiful Garden
There is a picture that show the earth at its best. It talks about how the earth was made for us. God made the grass and plants for us to see beautiful things and to eat as food. In this part of the stories it talks about the Garden of Eden. All the animals had a companion is this part of the story and at the end it says,
But look at the picture of this garden again. Do you know what God saw that was missing?
