Minnow of the week: my journey on steemit so far
Hello steemians, let me start off by thanking @runicar for the decision to ease up our steemit journey & encourage minnows like me through this contest.
INTRODUCING MYSELF
I go by the name Emmanson Jehoshua Ephraim, am an indigene of Akwa Ibom state which is located in Nigeria which is located in West Africa.
Am the last child of my family, am yet to go into school but I have this dream of becoming a chemical engineer. I like to think that am huge though my friends think am fat.
HOW I GOT TO KNOW ABOUT STEEMIT
Well I have this friend who turned brother @ungest, who was always ranting bout steemit telling me and another brother of mine @enajo to join him on steemit. Me being who I am I was less interested, I thought it was another means for someone to stay at home and gain traffic.
Then my attitude towards the whole situation changed when I saw an alert my friend got and it was all thanks to steemit. That's when me and @enajo joined.
HOW I LOST MY FIRST ACCOUNT
As a newbie I lost my account out of ignorance @biggiquan. I failed to save my password Into my draft. I was so depressed I goggled everything, I tried to get back my password but it was to no avail.
After I might have tried and tried, I wasted no time I opened a new one @biggijay.
MY FIRST MEET-UP WITH THE UYO FAMILY
Well my first meet-up was amazing, me being the shy person am I had difficulty adjusting to this at first. But when I got in and met the likes of @ubongj, @trenh, @annieben and alot of other people I had no choice but to feel comfortable. At the meet-up I got to meet great steemians by the likes of @ejemai, @tojukaka, who gave us tips on how to be a steemian.
BEING A GOOD AMBASSADOR
After I found out that steemit was really real, I wasted no time in inviting my family and friends. Especially after they found out I used money I got from steemit to get myself a new phone. In got the likes of @diademslik, @aniekanbassey, @dennisdee, @oddy.
We should try our very best to be good ambassador and we should bring more people into steemit (CHANGE A LIFE TODAY)
TESTIMONY OF STEEMIANS
Am the first testifyer in the building, thanks to steemit I was able to change my phone of 4years.
@enajo Was able to pay for his house rent
@engrbrain1 was able to pay his school fees and change his phone.
@willizgallery made 35$ on her introductory post. Which made her so happy.
MY GOALS ON STEEMIT
My goal on steemit is be more than I was, my goals on steemit to bring steemit to they city of eket, I want to be a role model to new steemians, I want to make it possible for future steemians to go through steemit without stress.
I want to build up enough steem power to curate unappreciated works.
