The blocktrades contest | Sunrise to Noontime on the Coldest Thanksgiving Day (After) Ever

Over the past few months, a whole lot of changes have been occurring in mine, and in @kelsnm's life.

We learned the exciting news that we are expecting our first born Son in late March.

My Father's fiance had been diagnosed with highly aggressive glioblastoma brain cancer, which they had told us she had a very slim chance at life past 15 months... here we are 8 months or so later, cancer free. I won't claim I have the full truth, but I attribute her remission to the precise surgery at Penn Medicine in Philadelphia, and my procurement of cannabis for her medical consumption post surgery for the next 6 months.

Last October I made the huge step to follow my dreams, and more or less, stop working for the devil, by quitting my full-time lab job working on pharmaceutical products, methods and vaccines to begin a farm and the prospect of starting my own drone business.

Yesterday, we put our first deposit down on the purchase of our new homestead to begin a new life of self sufficiency and constant learning and growth.

But, even with all these radical changes occurring in our lives, being a consistent Steemit user, from conception of my profile in December of 2017 till now, I feel I would make a worthy candidate to receive support from the blocktrades team! Original posts, damn near everyday, with a whole range of interesting topics.

With all these changes, and so many more, much bigger changes on the way, nothing could be more helpful than the support of the blocktrades community. So for the post I would like to use as my entry for the contest: Sunrise to Noontime on the Coldest Thanksgiving Day (After) Ever.

I may have broken the rules a bit with this post. But sometimes, you got to go above and beyond to draw the needed attention.
