PROJECT ELONCITY RELEASED WHITEPAPER!

Project Eloncity released their whitepaper recently and from this article, I' m going to explain the concept and features of project Eloncity referring to its whitepaper. This Eloncity whitepaper is somewhat different and more informative. It gives a high-level technical overview of the "Eloncity Model" and also give a very good technical explanation for those decentralized renewable energy project which they have planned to continue. To understand this white paper we must have a sound knowledge in areas such as energy industry, cloud computing, blockchain technology, decentralized applications , crypto utility token etc.

Let's try to understand the project concept and the objectives of this project Eloncity referring to its whitepaper. As we all know in today's world Electrical Energy is distributed through centralized alternative current (ac) power systems or we call it a "grid". These grids are facing a lot of challenges in following aspects.

1. Providing a reliable supply
2. Providing a safe supply
3. Providing a secure supply
4. Providing affordable energy services.

So simply, the objectives of the project Eloncity is to overcome these challenges and develop a reliable, safe and secure powers system which is better than what we have today. And we must not forget that we have a great challenge - population growth. So this centralized AC power grids will never achieve a 100% supply to the growing demand only depending on conventional power generation technologies. So we have to go for the renewable energies such as solar power, wind power etc. And project Eloncity proposing a " Decentralized renewable energy " concept. Let's see what that means.

THE ELONCITY MODEL

AI Grid Foundation (Foundation) is a Singapore based non-profit organization who are trying to find solutions for the above mentioned issues (Reliability, security, safety ) found in centralized AC power grids. AI Grid Foundation has collaborated with a lot of international organizations to develop the " Eloncity model". The objective of AI Grid Foundation (Foundation) was to develop a " Decentralized renewable energy " concept to generate power based on locally available natural energy sources such as wind power and solar power . The system they are developing is very reliable. In this concept, Energy is produced locally and consumed locally by Electrical energy consumers who coordinate with each other. We can look at this system as a community-based micro-grid. It's a wonderful concept and looks very promising. renewable microgrid. These " Decentralized community-based renewable microgrid " are far more secure, reliable and safe than the " Centralized AC power grids ". And we can't forget to speak about the crypto utility token (ECT / Eloncity Token) when considering the Eloncity model, ECT is the blood of this system. It helps to create a globally accessible marketplace for the consumers, and through that, the whole world will be able to access the latest technology used in power industry, latest products, and services.
Need to say a word about BESS, that stands for the battery energy storage system. It's an intelligent networked battery system which is located at customer premises which helps to balance the supply and demand of Electrical energy locally.

Energy Supply and Demand Equilibrium Curve.

Controlling the supply and demand for electricity is a very complex process. It's very complex because the system has to maintain the quality of power (frequency and voltage ) while supplying the energy for the request by consumers. The real-time dynamic pricing tools which are proposed in "Eloncity model " make the operation very efficient.
