Good day to us all. I hope we are all having a wonderful time. I welcome you all to my second post on steemit platform and this post is my second achievement post. I registered on steemit just yesterday and I have taken the initiative to try as much as possible to complete my achievement tasks to be well vested about the rules and regulations of the platform. With this post, I start my achievement task 2

Task two is all about security and with the understanding of security you can complete this task. Security is an act of being free from danger or theft or it is the precautions one can take to be free from any danger or theft.

Question 1
Have you receive all your keys on steemit?

Yes. I have received all be keys. In the process of signing up, I downloaded a pdf onto my phone that contains a number of different types of keys.

Question 2
Do you know each of this keys function and restrictions?

With the instructions written on them, I could tell each key has a specific function and also has restrictions only to where it is supposed to be. I read and tried the keys and now I fully understand them.

Posting key:

The posting key is the first key every steemian is familiar with since it is used to log into your steemit blog account and it helps perform functions like commenting and posting.

Memo key:

Memo key is used to decode and encode messages that are private and serves as a mean to avoid leakage of information.

Active key:

Active key is the key that is used in the powerup and transfer of steem tokens to other users. It is always used to complete the transfer of steem tokens to other users.

Owner key:

Owner key is one of the most important key among all the keys. It is the key that is been used to reset all the other keys except the master key.

Question 3
How do you plan to keep your master password?

I saved a copy of my master password on my iCloud and also made a pdf of it and placed in a secured folder on my laptop.

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user?

The steps to transferring steem token to another steem user is found below(

• Visit your steem wallet and login with your user name and active key

• Click the dropdown menu on steem.

• Click on transfer from the dropdown menu.

• Fill in the user name of who I am transferring the steem to and the amount of steem and tap next.

• Now use I will active key to complete the transfer.

These the the necessary steps to follow to achieve the above aim.

Do you know how to power up your STEEM?
I do know know how to power up.
The following are the steps you need to power up properly.

• Visit my steemit wallet and login with my user name and active key.

• I will tap on the dropdown on steem and tap on power up.

• I will input the number of steem to power up and tap on the power up button.

• You now I will tap on ok to complete my power up steem.
