I like tacos as much as the next guy, but this post takes tacos to a whole new level so much that it managed to earn $3,759 quickly. The story of taco bliss takes readers on a culinary adventure that will stimulate your appetite beyond a point you thought humanly possible. Not many of us can hope to explore the very fiber of what it takes to become a good taco, let alone write about it in such a way to express the pure joy one feels when conquering a taco.

Check out the post by pfunk and prepare to be amazed, and maybe you can be inspired to write at this godly level.

Its not often you find such an inspiring post written about someone who is no longer with us. In this post roelandp shows us how cool it was to be David Huddleston and what an amazing career he left behind only to shuffle off this mortal coil. If you are a film buff then you can get inspired by a post that earned $1,218 just check out the link below to get started learning how a pro writes about a dead person.

Finally we come to a person who started off writing gold from day one with his first blog post earning $1,670 right out the gate. How many can even dream about such an amount the first time you write a post for Steemit. Timsaid is often said to have gold running through his typing fingers churning out winning posts whenever he touches a keyboard and posts the words on Steemit.

I would be excited as well, knowing that post would be worth $1,670

This is mostly just a trip down memory lane showing how much you could have earned if you got on board Steemit at an early time. $1000+ posts still happen but with the increased amount of people competing for the daily prize pool, you are lucky if you can get past $5-$100 for a good post. So just think about how much harder it will be in another six months as more and more people compete for an ever decreasing supply relative to the users numbers.

Maybe its just me. But wouldn't it be better to align the text on the left side and use some headlines? Would be an easier read

Thanks for the tip, will keep that in mind so I do not make my readers suffer! :)

Yeah, getting this kind of recognition, especially by a whale is pretty hard these days...
Anyways, now I am hungry. Taaaacos!

It will be interesting to see how things go as more and more people join and learn how to use cryptos.

Very good point. It'll be interesting to see how different everything is as we gain more and more Steemians.

If people continue to hold Steem power and more people Join, its going to get harder and harder to earn any rewards. I am not sure what the price will do if we have a much larger demand for steem power.

Yes I have thought about this before. Everyone preaches more people, but the reality is it helps the folks on the trending page but no so much the commoners.

It will just get harder and harder as more and more people join and the reward pool gets more evenly distributed.

Often posts have incredible amounts of upvotes. When I started almost three months ago I was lucky to have a few whales drop by a couple of times and that was awesome. But it hasn’t happened anymore since. No sweat though, I keep writing about what interest me.

I simply hope my posts get seen more. I think I’m lucky if a post gets seen more than 10 times... I’m glad I have a few supporters who Grace me with the occasional upvote though.

Good attitude, its gets harder and harder to be seen as more and more people join and post content on Steemit. Commenting on posts like you are doing is one great way to make sure others are aware of your existence on Steemit.

Thanks for your encouraging words!

Lack for better words, this is definitely food for thought when writing on Steemit. I've heard many times that being a good writer these days are a bare minimum requirement and you need to stand apart from the crowd to build an interest.

With 300,000+ accounts at the current date, engagement becomes just as necessary as quality. There are also many good curation efforts throughout the platform, but being persistent and providing fresh topics, perspective, and style will help you reach more people.

What I gathered from reading your post was a breath of relief in a way. A good post can be about anything, and if people view it as valuable, you will get the votes!

Also, @originalworks

The key is to have fun and do what you like, hopefully its something you would keep doing even if you do not get rewarded for it.

Or something you would have done anyway! I'm happy with my decision to write about things I genuinely like, trying to craft your life around a post isn't fun. With all of the pressure with coming up with ideas for articles, you shouldn't do something just because it's popular unless you also like it!

Thanks for putting back the fun in fundamentals with this one c:

These are good old memories.

Luckily they are forever on the Blockchain so we can all reminisce

I've never seen such a big compensation. It's not about coins, but about tacos.
That's amazing.

Do not underestimate the power of Tacos! :)

Ha! I remember @pfunks taco posts.

But back then, the price of steem was about $0.20

Yep and if people held on to steem they saw it in the $2.00 range not long after

I cannot believe people can earn this kind of money on steemit!

Not so much anymore, but back in the early days it was more common.
