Just came to say hello!

Hello Steemit community!

My name is Konrad and currently my biggest goal is to find a suitable remote work so I'll be able to travel around the world and work from any place I like!

I always wanted to run my own business, and I actually I had two companies already. First one was a cotton candy machine - we were organising cotton candy with some animation on birthdays and events. It was really nice job which gave me a lot of experience and also some extra weight because of sugar overdose!

Second one was the mobile app which actually have never been released (yet). We put to much money into this project at too early stage and we run out of it pretty fast. We even took a loan for that (Actually I signed all the papers so it happend that only me ended up with debts).

Idea was really simple: whenever you go out to the city you take a smartphone with you - that's obvious! You can use that smartphone to take a snap in the place like restaurant and post it on your social media. When you do so you are actually promoting that place and all of your friends can see what are u doing there. For that promotion you were given a discount which you could save for yourself or support some charity actions.

Meanwhile I had some health problems and had to go to the hospital for like 1 month and when I came back my business partner just stop answering to my calls and sadfully he was the one who keep in touch with the inwestors and app developers. So I ended up with debts and not a single clue of what's going on with the project.

Anyway I wish him good luck and hope that some day app will be realeased because I still believe it can help a lot of people.

So here I am right now, with a little baggage from the past heading towards new goals and new possibilities.

I learned quite a lot from both of my business adventures and now I'm into some cryptocurrency projects - that's how I found out about Steem!

I believe blokchain technology and cryptocurrencies will bring us to the next financial revolution. Blockchain itself can be used in so many industries and it has almost limitless aplication. And I'm really glad that I'm taking part in it!

For most of the time I was pretty bored at school and always ending up reading some other books at classes.
I've read quite a lot of books about formal nad informal meditation, buddhist philosophy, biohacking and widely understood self developement. I've been also making a lot of notes from this books so I' ll be sharing them with you here!

I'm a very big fan of informal education, so rather then just reading how to do something I always wanted to try it out as soon as possible.

The biggest thing I learnd is that mastery comes from constantly repeating the same practice over and over again. Even if you read a thousand books which explains perfectly how to do something but you don't try it you'll probably just get confused because everyboody says something diffrent. The best thing you can do for yourself if you want to learn something is learning a bit of theory and trying to find your own way as soon as possible. If it works just repeat it, if not try to change something. I'm talking about this because it happened to me. I was so curious about perfecting meditation that I ended up reading one article after another. I was telling to myself: "I got to have a perfect methode then I'll be able to practise a lot better!". How wrong was I! Of course I've never found a perfect methode and just wasted a lot of time ending up confused and mad that I can't meditate. After a few weeks of break I decided to start again but this time I focused on one methode. I was only looking for tips how to overcome some difficulties and of course I've found so much guides with so many pieces of advice. Some of them didn't work at all but others were really great and let me go further with my practise. But the main point is that I wasn't just reading the theory. Right after reading I gave myself some time to practise it. And that's how I learned how to meditate and overcome most of the difficulties.

Patience is one of the most important things when learing something new. Doesn't matter if you want to lose weight, learn how to meditate how to make a perfect pizza (I'll share some great recipe with you :).

Every one is diffrent and have their own mechanisms (way of thinking, preferences, predispositions). Something which works perfectly for me can be totally useless for you. So the best thing you can do is AB testing. If something doesn't work as expected just change it and try something diffrent. It's not smart to do the same thing over and over and expect diffrent effects - you'll be just wasting your time and energy.

On the other hand you have to be patient and give yourself time to learn new skills. When I was learing how to juggle I could't do it at all for quite a long time. Then one day I woke up and started succesfully doing it over and over again. So have I learned how to juggle overnight? No! To sum up I spent so much time on practise and one day the whole training and failures just paid off.

Second best way of mastering anything is to find a person who has already mastered it and who could become you mentor. Although sometimes it can be really hard to find a proper one. I have found mine a bit more then a year ago and I wouldn't come this far if I haven't met him. But it's a story for another evening :)

Coming to an end I'm really excited about being part of this great community. I hope that I'll be able to help a lot of people by sharing my knowledge. I'll be sharing a lot of summaries from great books I've read, biohacking methodes, as well as some meditation guides and cryptocurrency news. I'm just an ordinary guy who is doing his job and heading towards his goals sharing his observations so that others may save some time and effort!

Have a nice day!

Regards,

Konrad

Hi! Meditation and Buddhist philosophy can be really useful in practical life. I don't meditate as often as I should, but I find it's a really helpful practice to use, and it helps me develop in numerous ways.

Maybe you should try some informal meditation then? I'll be writing about mindfulness soon :)
