Feel the Summer in Iligan at Paseo de Santiago

Hello everyone! I’ve been so busy these past days and I haven’t had the time to write a blog until now. We are currently working at Project Eleven with a local chess club here in Iligan City in organizing an event (chess tournament) for kids aging 15 years old and below.

If you are interested for the said event, please feel free to visit and follow @project-eleven. But anyway, I just want to share with you guys, my not-so-ordinary Sunday. We (together with @dnnjyz) went in Paseo de Santiago to chill out, relax and have fun!

We did not planned to chill out in the place but since we wanted to spend time in a relaxing place, we decided to visit the place again. If you’ve been following me since last year, you would remember that I’ve wrote about this place before. You can read it here.

Anyway, we arrived in the place at around 6:00 PM and @dnnjyz took picture of the environments. She photographed this Paseo de Santiago Summer Signage with the sunset as the captivating background. The place is really epic and I would really suggest that you visit it when you come to Iligan.

Then I asked her to take a photo of me with that signage. And below is the photo that she took with my phone. The place is really great and the ambiance is really good, perfect for a Sunday hangout with my woman! Again, I would really suggest that you visit the place when you come to Iligan.

We were also hungry that time and so we ordered some local foods which are also available in the place. I admit that it’s kinda expensive for those who are in tight budget but I would say it’s super sulit and perfect for dinner!

We ordered barbecued gizzard and chicken liver and also, the famous soup-based dish, halang halang which literally means spicy spicy in English. We paid almost 350 PHP for all of these, that’s about 7 USD equivalent. That’s still cheap for such a great place.

We walk around the place and then went home about 30 minutes after. By the way, thank you so much for taking the time to read my post! I really appreciate your time! Please feel free to follow me if you enjoyed reading my post.

I would like to take this as an opportunity to advertise our project called @Project-Eleven – a blockchain-based organization which aims to bring talented Filipino athletes, e-sports enthusiasts, musicians and artists to the Steem Blockchain by instigating events, workshops, tournaments/competitions and other engaging events.

We will then reward participants and winners with cryptocurrencies and/or cash from our steemit earnings! We will also support related contents through quality curations!
