https://steemit.com/fiction/@anixon/demons The sufferings, demons like fear, guilt and depression gave him, Adam wants to take revenge, but to beat the enemy you need the weapon and you also must know how to use it Now Adam's next challenge is to find someone who can help him in this regard.
So he decides to talk father Anthony again.
He calls him,
"Father I know you can't help me but can you tell me about anyone, from whom I have a slight chance of getting some sort of help."
Father tells,
Jacob is the only guy who might help you. I am sending you his number. Contact him.
Adam calls Jacob and gets an appointment to meet him.
He is on his path to meet Jacob, the demons are continuously bombarding thoughts in his mind like,

'Jacob can't help me.'

'nobody in this world can understand me.'

'My life not worth living.'

'This loneliness is suffocating.'

By giving him these thoughts they are trying to off road him.

But somehow he keeps moving in the right direction.

He reaches there to meet him at the right time.

Jacob listens him properly and says,
"Your enemies are mighty powerful. They are hard to beat but not impossible. In this battle your weapons will be courage, self belief, determination and a great amount of self love.
Also keep one more thing in your mind, you have to beat fear first and then guilt, your third enemy depression will automatically run away."

Adam says, I understand but from where I can get these weapons????

"Well, you have to travel inward to get these. They are somewhere hidden inside you. And you are the only one in this world who can find them, Jacob replies."
But I don't know how to travel inside, Adam says.
"Don't worry I will help you with that but you have to leave everyone and everything outside the door of my house and stay with me for sometime."
Jacob asks, "Can you do that?"
I think, I can.
After saying this Adam calls his father and tells him that he will come back home after sometime.
Now real battle of Adam's life starts.
First of all Jacob tells him that these demons will try to distract you from your path. You have to defy them. Whenever they try to whisper something in your ear just don't pay attention.
Adam assures him and says that he will do everything to beat them because he wants to live.
This is the Adam's next morning at Jacob's house.
Jacob explains him that when he will go inside there will be lot of darkness but to find the light he has to find the weapons. And then only he can come back.
Jacob tells him to say "I love myself, I love myself" repeatedly and close his eyes and look inside.
Adam does exactly that and he reaches inside.
Inside there is lot of darkness that is trying to scare him but he decides that no matter, how dark it is, he will face that darkness because he wants to live.
Somehow he keeps moving, then he reaches at a place where all his memories are stored. When these memories look at him, they smile and in return Adam also gives back a beautiful smile.
Suddenly he sees that darkness has started disappearing and all the weapons are in his arms. He finds it surprising.
He goes back outside where Jacob is waiting for him.
He asks Jacob that how did he get all the weapons????
Jacob tells him that,
"When you decided to face the darkness with all your strength, that's when you found the courage.
When you looked at your memories and smiled, you basically realised how fortunate you were. All your medals, the first that you got in 100 meter Sprint, some in basketball and few others for your academic heroics, thats when you found your self belief.
The other one you got from the president for saving lives of two kids in the swimming pool and you felt that you were a really good human being. That's when you found your self love."
Adam smiles but quickly asks again, " you could have tell me all these things."
No my dear, it's your life. You had to find few things yourself. No one else in this world could bring it for you. And even if others would have tried to bring, there was a huge possibility of losing them quickly again. They will only be with you when you find them yourself.

Adam understands every word of Jacob and finds himself ready for the battle.

But he again finds it surprising that he can't feel the presence of demons anywhere that he frequently used to feel earlier.
