Robin. Which bird will be next?

Robin has many names in Russian... But it's all the same bird. How I was very surprised when it found out)) In England, the robin is a symbol of Christmas. And that's fine.

I use the watercolor "Nevskaya Palitra": titian, ultramarine, sepia, cadmium yellow medium, white zinc. Paper Palazzo 280g / m2, 70% cotton.

I take a pencil in my hands and make a contour drawing of a bird. I outline the main details, remove the extra lines and turn to watercolors.

I breed an ultramarine with water and this mixture covers the silhouette of a bird. I add titian paint to the chest of the birds, sepia on the wings and head. I pour small salt on the watercolor and dry the work.

Now I turn to the details. I take a sepia on my brush and draw eyes, beak and wings of a robin. The branch on which the bird sits passes in front of the bird, and the branch is slightly lighter. Ultramarine with sepia I put down on the paunch of a bird. And with a darker shade of paint I add paws and a dark part of the wing.

I take the white and add a flare to the bird's eye and lighten the feathers on the chest a little. Also I pass through the white on the branch. I sign the work and it’s ready.
