ColorChallenge. Monday red. Poppies. Watercolor

I draw poppies. This is an ordinary picture in which I combined all possible positions of flowers and blades from different photos. I thought so, maybe you want to watch the video in the form of a lesson? In normal playback speed and with a little explanation on the go? Write to me and I'll take something for you)

I paint with watercolor "Nevskaya Palitra": scarlet, cadmium yellow medium, carmine, green, olive. I use cotton paper Saunders Waterford, 100% cotton.

I already have sketches of flowers ready, and it’s all because I did them while I was playing with my daughter. I did not have the opportunity to shoot this part on video. But there is little time to build a pencil sketch.

I type a scarlet color on the palette and a little yellow. Yellow will give a glow, and scarlet is the primary color. And I'm typing step by step the color of the petals. Flowers in the background are less clear, on the front - more distinct. But all other laws work the same way: volume, light and shadow.

For stems, I use olive and green colors. The stem of the poppy has small hairs of light color. To draw them I use a gel pen. But in the photo they are lost, apparently the characteristics of my camera can not transmit them. And it is very insulting.
