welch Teegesellschaft...
Sie saßen und tranken am Teetisch
und sprachen von Liebe viel.
Die Herren, die waren ästhetisch,
die Damen von zartem Gefühl.„Die Liebe muß sein platonisch“,
der dürre Hofrat sprach.
Die Hofrätin lächelt ironisch.
Und dennoch seufzet sie: „Ach!“Der Domherr öffnet den Mund weit:
„Die Liebe sei nicht zu roh,
sie schadet sonst der Gesundheit.“
Das Fräulein lispelt: „Wieso?“Die Gräfin spricht wehmütig:
„Die Liebe ist eine Passion!“
Und präsentieret gütig
die Tasse dem Herren Baron.Am Tische war noch ein Plätzchen;
mein Liebchen, da hast du gefehlt.
Du hättest so hübsch, mein Schätzchen,
von deiner Liebe erzählt.
Ich belasse es bei meinen Fotografien und dem Gedicht. Doch stell euch lebhaft vor, in unserer Runde war es auch sehr amüsant!

what tea society ...
They sat and drank at the tea table and talked about love a lot.
The gentlemen, who were aesthetically,
the ladies of tender feeling.”Love must be platonic", the arid councilor spoke.
The councilor smiles ironically.
And yet she sighs: "Oh!"The canon opens his mouth wide:
"Love is not too raw, otherwise it will harm your health.
"The lady lisps: "Why?"The Countess speaks wistfully:
"Love is a passion!"
And present kindly the cup to the Lord Baron.At the table was still a place;
my darling, there you were missing.
You would have been so pretty,
sweetheart, told about your love.

Se sentaron y bebieron en la mesa de té y hablaron mucho del amor.
Los caballeros, que eran estéticamente,
las damas de la ternura."El amor debe ser platónico", dijo el árido consejero.
El concejal sonríe irónicamente.
Y aún así suspira: "¡Oh!"El canónigo abre bien la boca:
"El amor no es demasiado crudo, de lo contrario perjudicará tu salud.
"La dama cecea: "¿Por qué?"La Condesa habla con nostalgia:
"¡El amor es una pasión!"
Y presenta amablemente la copa al Señor Barón.En la mesa seguía siendo un lugar;
mi querida, ahí estabas tú desaparecida.
Hubieras sido tan bonita,
Cariño, te hablé de tu amor.

Danke für die schönen Bilder und das amüsante Gedicht. Vor allem die Teekanne hat es mir angetan.
Auch bei uns heißt es ab jetzt wieder Teezeit. Frische Minze und sonstiges geeignetes Teekraut haben wir noch frisch, aber für den Winter ist schon getrocknetes eingelagert.
