Heading for the BIG 1,000 - Thankful to The Amazing Nigerian Community and Friends!

Thank you steemit!.png

With just breaths away from meeting my 900th friend on Steemit! I am so elated at this milestone achievement. The Steemit community has come to mean so much to me in recent times, I have made real friends on this platform, and I have also introduced real friends to the ever-growing community. A platform that rewards you for being yourself, how awesome is that?

Having been on this platform for roughly 4 months, I have managed to garner about 900 friends. This same feat took me several years of Facebooking to achieve, even if the number of friends I currently have on the platform is 1,393 okay, maybe when you add the pending friend requests it can get up 1,500, but the point is it took me nearly a decade to achieve, and I’ve made absolutely nothing from all the content I contributed to the platform. Thank God for Steemit!

Ladies and gentlemen, this is just a random post where I hope to express my deep gratitude to the distinguished people that have greatly influenced me on the Steem blockchain. By their kind words, advice and mentorship that I have been privileged to partake of

Haters will say I am famzing, but the real G's will either call it networking or better still - connect.

A Big Thank You to the Leaders I know

@Ejemai - Founder, Stach

There wouldn't be an @Agbona on Steemit today without the influence and guidance of Mr. @Ejemai, under the @Stach umbrella. I remember vividly how he was giving me instructions on the appropriate tags to use and how to properly structure my Introductory Post in order to attain maximum visibility, which I did and post was valued at $18, while his own Introductory post was valued at 20 cents, what a selfless man!

He mentors me, as he does several others, and he will tell you to do this, don't do that. Gather Steem Power, never power down, it will only make you look hungry.

The best part (as any person from Stach can testify) is the unending, consistent support. The truth is, I wish the Nigerian government were @Stach, and @Ejemai is the President; we all know we will have a more prosperous Nigeria.

Many thanks for all your support, it means the world to me.

@Surpassinggoogle

I met this amazing guy during the Steem-lagos that held sometime in November 2017, it was such an engaging event, and @surpassinggoogle literally bled his soul out to the participants of the event, through his captivating and selfless talk. He wasn't present at the event in-person, as his discussion was convened through Skype. I made a comprehensive notes of things I picked up from his teachings in a post I made, shortly after the event.

We correspond on Discord, where he shares his awesome ideas, as well as mentors and supports me regularly, the same way he supports the whole community. He has an infectious love and desire to help and encourage people that cross his path. It's people like @surpassinggoogle that makes Steemit an awesome place to be.

Please vote @surpassinggoogle 's @steemgigs to become a witness by simply visiting https://steemit.com/~witnesses and type in "steemgigs" in the first search box for witnesses

@Oluwoleolaide, Founder - Steem-Lagos

I met this great dude during an event organized by him and his @Steem-lagos crew, the energetic event where I met other leaders in the Nigerian community such as @fisteganous (I hope to famz this guy sometime soon) of @onequality among other great guys. @Oluwoleolaide @steem-lagos weekly giveaway competition has helped many, myself included, to get rewards and the right exposure to the contents of their blogs. I hope the initiative comes back soon and stronger, to continue helping the newbies find their ground on Steemit.

I met @Dante31 during Sunday Curation, a weekly show he hosts, where he helps minnows (new steemians) interact and network with each other, and also gain great curation for their posts, from the community for their undervalued articles. I am a regular at this event, and on a given Sunday, due to a string of events, and we got talking. It turns out we are both from the same Alma mater, as the picture reveals (matching cardigan).

Although we are presently working on creating a sustainable community in the University, and we will be sharing detailed information here on Steemit, once the time is appropriate.

@Pangoli is one of the most real people I have in met in recent times, and of course, we met on the Steem blockchain. He has been as supportive as ever and I'd love to thank him for all the helpful support in terms of curation, insights, ideas and encouragement. You are indeed a real friend, mans introduced me to Steemstem and Stemng, among other communities, not to mention the countless introductions and good words you put in for me.

Thanks @pangoli, you're the man!
