Kartini's Day
Source
So, Kartini's day began with the awarding of the title of National Hero, to Raden Ajeng Kartini.
And then in 1964, President Soekarno, established Kartini day as National day, in accordance with the birth date of R.A. Kartini.
Raden Ajeng Kartini, is one of the female hero figures, Indonesian women who were born in Jepara, on April 21, 1873.
He fights for women's rights to have equality in community life.
This thought was inspired by the exchange of letters with European women, which was later published as a book entitled "After Darkness comes the Light."
Of course we also wish you a happy Kartini day for all Indonesian women.
Actually Kartini Day is a struggle for women's gender equality.
Yes, because until now it was actually not only Indonesia, but abroad, developed countries like the United States alone still have problems of gender inequality.
Maybe they've gotten better, but there are some facts that haven't arrived yet.
Maybe you women can celebrate it by empowering also you Indonesian women.
Continue to work together, direct yourself more to work for Indonesia, be more serious about what you like, and never be afraid.
Greetings Indonesian Steemians 💫
