Aceh Noodle Food

To Aceh is incomplete if you have not tasted Mie Aceh. In Bireuen itself there are a number of Aceh Mie shops that taste delicious and legendary.

Aceh noodle itself is a typical Acehnese spicy noodle consisting of thick yellow noodles which are usually cooked together with beef, mutton, or seafood. These noodles are usually served with savory spicy curry soup (but also served without sauce). Once cooked, this dish will be sprinkled with fried onions, chips and pieces of red onion, cucumber, and lime.
