Half of the moon's face was covered in fog
loomed like the eyes of an old man
all light is a diffuse shadow
refracted in the crack in the window glass
on a trip to koetaradja

there's a conversation about power
about cheating and love
about choice without meaning
about memories of despair
the voices immediately vanished as soon as they came out
slipped from a throat full of nicotine
without question
where it disappeared

endless conversation at the end of the trip
half of the moon is still covered in fog
the other half is covered by your face
smile in pain
cultivate dark memories
in the name of love

Separuh Malam

Separuh wajah bulan tertutup kabut
membayang seperti pandangan mata tua
semua cahaya adalah bayang-bayang baur
membias di celah kaca jendela
dalam sebuah perjalanan menuju koetaradja

ada percakapan tentang kekuasaan
tentang selingkuhan dan cinta
tentang pilihan tanpa makna
tentang kenangan menjumput asa
suara-suara segera lenyap sesaat setelah keluar
tergelincir dari tenggorokan penuh nikotin
tanpa ada pertanyaan
ke mana ia menghilang

percakapan tak putus di akhir perjalanan
separuh bulan masih tertutup kabut
separuhnya lagi tertutup wajahmu
tersenyum dalam kepedihan
memupuk kenangan kelam
atas nama cinta
