We're still busy churning out baskets of memories
looking for a name that is lost in wishful thinking
for the love entwined from a fragile knot
between the root of the image and the word

But why sculpt a name
over the door without knocking anyone,
not even moths
who hit the door in the middle of the darkness

The name is just for lifting the chin
under the longing light
or a splash of vinegar from a blind judge

We're just stuck in a dark alley
without holding hands
except the occasional heart longs
and the remnants of your perfume
which is etched on the top of my nose

Mencari Nama

Kita masih sibuk mengaduk bakul kenangan
mencari sebuah nama yang hilang di angan
atas kasih yang terjalin dari simpul rapuh
di antara akar gambar dan kata

Tapi untuk apa memahat nama
di atas pintu tanpa ketukan sesiapa,
bahkan tak juga laron sesat
yang menubruk pintu di tengah pekat

Nama hanya untuk mengangkat dagu
di bawah siraman cahaya rindu
atau siraman cuka dari juri buta

Kita hanya tersuruk di lorong gelap
tanpa gandengan tangan
kecuali hati sesekali merindu
dan sisa-sisa parfummu
yang terpatri di puncak hidungku
