Zen Colouring Contest
My creation. A fiesta of a calavera.
I wanted to make the calavera festive, not bleak or morbid. Although adding some darkness is needed to create a night party theme. I also choosed a sparkly background, and gave the teeth swarovski crystal grills.
My contrubution to @magiccleatus Zen Colouring Contest
I pick purple for next week's featured colour.
The prosess
The original stencil of the calavera.
Prosses image, done some coloring in "sketch", although I ended up with other colors.
Finished colored, but I made some extra touch up, again, with the colors.
Found a background I liked on unsplash.com.
The skull pasted on the background.
My finished work, after adding a filter and sparkels on the teeth.

I love the shiny and sparkly colour scheme you went for, the combination of purple, red and orange work really well against the pale base colour of the skull and they certainly make me think of colours of a fiesta or carnivale. The patterns within the design standout beautifully with your placement of colour. I like the additional effects you placed around the image too, the slight shimmers, light lines, sparkles and crystals really bring the party to life!
