#zencolouringcontest :: My entry for Zen Colouring Contest #27, hosted by @magiccleatus
Hello fellow Steemians!
This week's stencil from @magiccleatus's Zen Colouring #27 was a woven geometry stencil with the featured colour this week, Fuchsia.
When I saw the stencil and the featured colour's shades and tints, my first impression of the two together was the ancient Chinese dynasty's windows and doors' designs.
For this piece, the stencil has been combined with a landscape background of river and plants in pink hues, a photo by Kai Oberhäuser on Unsplash, coupled with a digital sketch of mountains, bamboo plants and little grass flowers and flying birds using pencil on 3D Paint at the center of the stencil.
For the coming theme, I would like to choose the Monica fursona Color Palette
I love the pattern created by your use of colour, the black breaks up the design and brings to life the impression of Chinese Dynasty decor. I also like that the photo and sketch that you used pairs nicely with the design in a subtle way!
