In September, I called for a $250B Marketcap by Thanx...hit it. I called for $1.5T by the end of 2018...STEEM $10 by StPatsDay...the bugger needs to get hopping...still $100 by the end of 2018.....
Someone posted a very interesting article earlier today linkibg the issue to the fact that polinex has a very large amount of steem locked up and your only option is to sell and this is really messing with stuff. Let me see if i can find it real quick.
My fingers are crossed with yours, but I'm not going to hold my breath, if that's ok with you :)
I read somewhere on here that Bloomberg Technology had an article where they talked about steemit in regards to the dropping numbers in Facebook...that exposure can't hurt.
Everyone wishes this... But I wish that the number of accounts in Steemit more than 100 million and that everyone knows that Steemit is the future of social media and the blockchain is the future of the world and its a weapon to eradicate poverty and in the world ...
He means that there are so many people signing up, it takes a long time from when they apply and when they can start posting. If there are even more people signing up, they will need to hire people to approve all the new accounts. :)
Hello mate. I've just stumbled onto a contest about conspiracies and I wanted to ask you what your thoughts are about something. There was an article made in The Economist in 1988 about the 'new world currency'. The Phoenix on the front cover. What is your knowledge about this?
Also, I read some information about Circle, the poloniex takeover, being backed by Goldman Sachs. This all seems very fishy and I am always very hesitant with sources. Can you shed any light on the situation?
Do you think the two instances could possibly be linked?
There are a lot of conspiracy theories out there...many are absurd. Yet the trouble with them is most of them contain some nuggets of truth.
They already have a world currency..the USD. Everything is priced in it. Russia and China hate it so they are trying to get the UN to develop one...
As for Circle, it is a case of the banksters wanting into crypto. In this instance, I think the banksters see trading fees and a way to make money. We are seeing the wolf enter the hen house.
This is why decentralized exchanges like Bitshares are so important. Over time, we should see more of them be developed.
I just wrote in another comment, it is not the currencies or the money that is important it is the decentralization. This is what humanity needs and what needs to reach the masses.
Centralization is what allows for the elites to control. Conspiracy or not, it is what is taking place....a few powerful entities control it all.
I totally agree, and with the pushes in censorship last year on Youtube the narrative was controlled even further.
Yes, totally right. The talks of a Global Economy Reset still around? I was reading that Brazil, India, Russia, and China would rise above America if this was the case. Although seeing how the dynamic has been on crypto a while, it could be possible that America is relying on that.
The whole 'Phoenix' thing from The Economist and also another article I found about a man who found the first minted American coin, the quint, got me thinking about a possibility about the crypto coin, Quint, you shared the other week.
Very suspicious how a coin like that has popped up and is backed by an American minted coin. Was it Salt Lake City? The coin is also supposed to be released between Presidents day and the 4th of July.
Another ploy to make a global crypto coin seem even more American than it is?
Just speculation after researching this morning but it does seem odd.
You are right though, true decentralization is very important and it's seriously important that people keep pushing for this. I can imagine it'll require some form of true fiat break down before it happens, plus it's all going to rely on timing and some form global scale mistrust from the system. The likelihood of that happening, I'm not sure.
I dont see a fiat breakdown as much as just an acceptance of crypto.
If people embrace centralization as a major premise of freedom and turn away from centralized entities...then the currency makes sense.
STEEM is actually a bit part of the process since we are establishing a decentralized social media network. Unlike Facebook which monitors all one does and sells it, there is none of that on this blockchain. That needs to be appealing to people (and is the piece of the puzzle we should be promoting as much as the money).
Once people realize that a great deal of their freedom is removed by centralization and can be recaptured simply by switching to the decentralized services as they emerge, then I think we will see mass adoption.
I think you are right. When people understand how their freedom is affected they will surely make the jump.
As long as there is an alternative and they can switch over.
The general populice is usually afraid of change, hopefully the great minds working on decentralized systems can make the transistions fun and simple enough for everyone to take the leap.
In time.
What happened since yesterday? Your 0.02 SP is down from 1.45 ;)
Reality is still the detour. Maybe once the banks have completed their big purchases at the cheap prices, then the prices will rise again. They gotta get theirs, after all. Steem at $100 is going to make increasing my SP very difficult. Not looking forward to that. I am looking forward to telling my family that my account with 100SP is worth $10,000! Ha ha.

At this point, it isnt looking so good on the St Pats prediction.....
We shall see...maybe a bull run in a week or so....
I might have to spread some Fake News....
haha I have a vision and it ain't pretty :)
Fake News seems to work wonders..and no one ever notices!
Hey I am one of the best looking cross eyed guys you will find.
Although I do keep walking into things.
Never a Russian around when you need one.
hahahaha thanks for the laugh
I'm going to trust you on your looks; albeit a bit of a bruised face maybe :)

Even my hair is crossed
I would do that but I dont have any...
I still have high hopes for all crypto
@taskmaster I think we are going to need a HUGE 4 Leaf Clover........
LOL Yeah I am not looking so hot on this forecast at the moment.
Still 16 days left but I really need some "luck of the Irish" to have a chance.....
Buy buy buy....
Everyone wishes this... But I wish that the number of accounts in Steemit more than 100 million and that everyone knows that Steemit is the future of social media and the blockchain is the future of the world and its a weapon to eradicate poverty and in the world ...
Okay we will go with your projections.
We might need to volunteer to help with the sign up process if that is the case....they are going to need more eyeballs verifying. LOL
Don't understand what you mean.
He means that there are so many people signing up, it takes a long time from when they apply and when they can start posting. If there are even more people signing up, they will need to hire people to approve all the new accounts. :)
there are so many people who said tht steem price will reach100$ BUT I THINK IT'S A LITTLE BIT DIFICULT AS LONG AS IT price still 3$ after 2 months
STEEM better get moving if its gonna see $10 by Paddys day..
Better days ahead. But for now, grab a coffee and a seat belt cause we going on a bumpy ride.
If it is going to be a bumpy ride, shouldnt we omit the coffee?
It would make quite a mess. LOL
Sometimes feels good to bath in the rain. Lol.
Sippy cups. 😀

Crypto crash...what can you do.
Next week it will be worth 6.25.
Here's hoping. Curie shared the love on a fresh post of mine yesterday.
Enjoy your day anyway, nice to discuss yet again.

No other blockchain is innovating like Steem. The big jump will happen around the next fork!
Video game avatar high five.
Back to you brother!
