THE PROMPT - DEPRESSED

The soldier saw the approaching tanks, as the enemy planes strafed their trenches. Stubbornly crouched holding on to the plunger. Even when bullets tore through him. Till the tanks were near the bombs. Dying as he depressed the plunger.
