For the 95,300th time the angel who was the only sentient being upon the earth burned his creation, one more failure. He would try again and win, he was Lucifer after all. He could not fail in creating an alternative to a blade of grass.

    This is EXCELLENT ... the theologian Donald Grey Barnhouse in his book The Invisible War spent a chapter talking about the frustration of the Adversary in not being able to create anything... this captures the same idea just as well!
