Your post is a good read. Nice to hear someone else's experience. I jumped on the Youtube Bandwagon late, and can relate to exactly what you've said. Think a lot of it has to do with advertiser pressure. I'll always be a Youtube viewer but no longer post. I am still learning on Steemit but find it a great platform.
Potentially Steem could be the new Youtube but without the ads. Would have to be a sub platform though I would imagine because you don't want intervene with all the great blogs too much.
