Sta. Cruz Youth team building

For you to know, youth or teen ager are being specified that they have a place in Brgy. There is position that for youth only. For example, that position are for the citizen that age from 12-25. That position called SK Chairman, (Sangguniang Kabataan or in english Youth Council.) Youth Council was composed of 10 Youth members, first the SK Chairman, 7 members, 1 secretary and 1 treasurer. Of course we are youth or teen agers so we are focus only that belongs into teens. But before that let me introduce myself first.

Hello everyone, you can call me Ric. I'm currently the Youth Council secretary. @mrnightmare89 told me to write something about our past activities and coming activities. The brgy. couldn't support us 100 % because we only have a small brgy. but we have alot in mind for the youth. We had an incoming event this coming May 1, it is a variety show for the enjoyment for everyone. So, @mrnightmare89 is like a big brother to us in the youth and he told us all in the Youth Council to use this account. He told me and us that there are lot of people here in steemit that willing to give a hand about community. But before that let me just share it to you how was our event last week.

Our event last week was called TEAM BUILDING.

The purpose of this kind of activity is to help the youth to boost their confidence. We were so concerned about depression that's why we want them also to motivate about working together with others. We didn't have seminar because the one who should handle us wasn't ready for his speech. That's why we only did lot of games, play with everyone.

Most of the games we played is for everyone to join in. We called this game all together to make all of us became friends. We like to strenghten our bond as a citizen who lives in the same place.

This is a piece of bread, this is a types of contest. You should eat it all without using a hand and blind folded. This is very very fun game.

Lot of random games, the important is to grow the relationship of each other. By joining in the games, it will help them to build their mind in participating.

Holding one another will help the bonds to be stronger. We are not a family but I know someday we can connect with them.

This was being held every year. We encourage all the youth in our brgy to join in. We did solicitation for each household but that was not an obligation. It depends on what they will give to us as long as we can earn money, rice and vegetable or anything.

"So the main reason for this kind of event was to motivate the youth to work together. Encourage the youth in collaboration rather than competition. To develope their strength and to adress their weaknesses."
