Your Lucky Photos (condensed Rundown of this Free Service)

in #yourluckyphotos6 years ago (edited)

This post will serve as a brief guide to the @yourluckyphotos non-profit service, designed to help and reward budding photographers on Steemit - free of any charge.

How this free service works

(click here for a full explanation and list of rules)

  • Every day @yourluckyphotos will upvote, resteem and comment on up to 10 posts that contain original photography that is not offensive, violent or pornographic in nature. Posts tagged with the "yourluckyphotos" tag (without the quotation marks) will get preferential treatment.

  • Each day the up to 10 lucky posts that are upvoted will be featured in a daily blog.

  • On the first day of each month, all posts that were upvoted in the previous month will be featured in a monthly Lucky Photo Lottery. I will roll a lottery at randomnumbergenerator.com, and 3 winners will be awarded the SBD (Steem Backed Dollars) payout divided equally after 7 days for that post.

How this service will evolve

All SBD payouts (with the exception of the monthly Lucky Blog) received by @yourluckyphotos will be converted into more Steem Power. This exponential growth of Steem Power will benefit those we upvote on a daily basis, allowing us to reward more and more photographers in time. This free and non-profit service is scheduled to continue for as long as Steemit exists, or as long as we are able to keep helping and rewarding photographers, with or without any upvote support in return from the community.

there really is also like that in other parts of the world, I was surprised

All SBD payouts (with the exception of the monthly Lucky Blog) received by @yourluckyphotos will be converted into more Steem Power through blocktrades; these transactions can be viewed and verified in our public wallet.

Are you referring to leased delegation here, or do you mean buying STEEM and powering up? I believe that using the Market functions in your STEEM wallet so buy STEEM with the SBD and then powering up would be more cost-effective (thinner spreads, cheaper fees) than using Blocktrades.

good call. I will compare both when converting to power up, but it appears you are correct. thank you!

You're welcome! Always good to get the best rates you can for the cheapest fees. It may not be much at first, but it will add up over time.

Well I hope to be lucky to be one of the lucky ones, thanks

Great idea, but I read it too late for my last post, hehehe
Best regards from Thailand
